I think you had to be in the ATA or listening to the admins and such to find out about it. It literally just opened up yesterday and is in open Beta mode. There's not really much to do, but it's easy to figure out if you're used to tumblr. That's about all I can say, there wasn't much there just yet. Except that the name sucks. Tentacl.com. They could have chosen something more mature.

The way you phrase that makes it sound like homosexual things should be wrong. Anyway, while questionable, the site isn't meant to be pornography. That... seems a little odd for Gaia's staff, actually. I'm not saying you won't be able to find that there, but it's not meant to be specifically that. Frankly that site needs to be better organized so as to separate things out that members don't want to see.

I second that, I too raised an eyebrow at the "homosexual" comment.
There's nothing wrong with it, and I am guessing the NPC is for creating a "corner" for people with a different sexuality than Hetro, where they can meet likeminded and so forth.

I checked the site out and I am heavily disapointed.
You start out with 500g and 25 diamonds.
I bought some clothing + a hairstyle for my toon, then it reminded me that I had yet to confirm my email registration etc - but it let me buy the items.
When I then went to activate it, and returned - I checked in my clothing closet thingy to equip items, and I had nothing...
I was missing the Gold and Diamonds, but I had NOTHING left.
I checked so I hadn't bought for the wrong base (Cause it's Base-strict with the clothes you buy), and no - nothing there either.

So so far the site seems way too buggy to be bothered with, as I feel rather scammed right now...

And regarding the Inflation, Yeah - it's mind blowing how it is...
I took a break from Gaia to play World of Warcraft, came back - the "normal" prices were at 1mil-50mil for some items, before I had left they were at 100k-1mil.

I then took a break again, returned... fiddled around.. loved it....
Sold some art, some old items...
Checked out the cash shop some weeks later - "Oh, Make it rain? What is this?"
I bought 100 or so and got super excited to open them, it was fun.

Then after that, seeing the prices rice from 10mil to 10bil, that just struck me...
Art is now sold for as much as 1bil or more.

The wings I am after went up to 25bil+.

and here I am, broke as a bum...
I haven't been able to afford buying any new "Make it Rain"/"make it hurricane" things, and now they're gone.
So I feel like we who either haven't been able to afford them at all, or could only afford so many, are getting the carpet pulled away from underneath us.

We're sinking in quicksand, meanwhile a select few stands at the sides, sipping gold-flaked spirits.
