Even as Silentblossom mentioned that there was little need to patrol, an unfamiliar ship had made its way through the out lining markers of Berks waters and was headed for the shore line. It did not stop, no show any signs of life even as the ship ran aground and titled to the side. Anyone who thought to approach the ship would see battle damage, and a sail made of leather rather than one of cloth. below deck, should anyone check they'd find a dehydrated unconscious dragon and rider pair, both sporting wounds that needed cleaning.

When Fiona Blair and Treeth had set out in search of those who'd killed their clan, neither understood that the great water was salt and could not be consumed, and the food left when the ship was abandoned on the shore was not enough to sustain them for long. The human as disoriented as she was, was desperate to find food and water for herself and her dragon, afraid she'd left them to the horrible fate that thrusting to death would be.
Something off the shore of Berk caught Silentblossom's eye and she turned from her two friends to look. A battleworn ship with a leather sail had just run aground on one of the shores without a dock. "I am going to go check that out. Daybreak! Let's go!" She ran up to her waiting white dragon and jumped into the fitted saddle that adorned the Day Furies back. She let Daybreak take a running start before jumping off the cliff. Daybreak opened her glorious white wings and caught the wind, and soared down towards the ship. She landed on the shore near the ship where Silentblossom slipped soundlessly from the saddle.

Daybreak kept close to Silentblossom as the girl crept closer to the ship, trying to see if anyone was on it.

There was no one on the deck of the ship, but there were claw marks, and what looked like chewing scattered here and there. Hearing the sound outside though, there was a soft sound below deck, like a snake moving across wood, a really big snake for it to carry that well though. Should Silentblossom look below the deck she'd find the sick rider and dragon, trying to get their bodies to cooperate. Their muddled minds were sure they were going to be attacked again. There was a grating sound and the boards on the side of the ship creaked and shifted as something was scratching through it. Claws, strong and sharp, pierced the wood and cut through it like a hot knife through lard. When the sun came in though there was a scurry of movement as whoever was inside moved away from the light. There was a very human groan and muttering about goggles. "So bright here," the weak voice grumbled.
Silentblossom and Daybreak both heard the sounds. Daybreak moved protectively infront of Silentblossom, baring her now extended teeth as Silentblossom drew her sword. Silentblossom pushed passed Daybreak who stayed right next to her as she moved towards the ship. She carefully moved to where she could hear the voice and looked down into the ship. "Is someone there?"

"Only if there is someone out there." came the voice, it wasn't any stronger, if anything it was a little weaker. They chuckled a little and said, "Lookit Treeth. I'm talkin' to people who aren't there again." A dark head moved slowly into the light, at first it looked like a small dragons head because the horns were not like a ram or any other mammals horns. They had a single body of the horn, with three prongs that branched off like the barbs of a plant. As the shoulders followed though the shape was wrong for a dragon, and the head had no mouth, just a dark slash where eyes would have been. "Or maybe not. Treeth do you see them too?" A large green head with horns like those on the helmet, only with more prongs, came into view, where the dragons eyes should have been there were what looked like black plates, kept in place by leather straps the same color as the dragons' flesh, and the human who spoke. There was a musical chirping sound from the dragon, a deep bass, but still somehow birdlike confirmed that there was in fact a person and dragon outside of the ship and not her rider going crazy. Unless they saw the same thing. Though she wouldn't be able to see the affects of dehydration of the rider because of her helmet, the dragon showed signs that she was dehydrated in the cracking of the skin around her mouth, and where the saddle she wore had rubbed with her movement. Neither seemed to be completely alert either.
Silentblossom glanced questioningly at Daybreak and looked further into the boat. "There is someone out here...make sure your dragon doesn't attack and mine won't either..." She was always leery around new arrivals to the village. She had learned things the hard way when she'd first met Dagur the Deranged and her father Alvin the Treacherous before she'd known he was her father. Both of them had tried to use her to either capture or take both Toothless and Daybreak, though luckily neither of them had been able to succeed, and her father had for the moment, renewed a small semblance of his honor in the eyes of the people of Berk.

"My Treeth won't hurt no body unless you start somethin'." Came the humans slurred reply reply, along with the bass chirping sound from the dragon. Treeth was concerned about her rider, she'd been acting oddly and now they were on land and she wasn't trying to make herself better. The dragon didn't understand why, or what was wrong with her rider. They came from a place with no shortage of drinkable water, dehydration was not something either had encountered before. She nudged her rider who was swaying on her feet. Fiona Blair shook her head, still within the helmet, slowly as if trying to shake out the cobwebs, she wasn't quick to trust either. With the nudge though Fiona was forced out of the ship at a stumble because she was so weak. As she came fully into the light one of her problems became clear. There was a gash in the side of her vest, that went all the way through to her flesh. It had been bandaged, but the bandage was soaked in blood. "Treeth, I don't feel so good. Under her helmets mask Fiona was gray instead of just pale, then her eyes rolled back and she fell over. Treeth came out of the ship exposing her forty feet of glorious green flesh and went to her rider making sounds of distress, her goggled head swaying from side to side. She chirped and crooned at Daybreak trying to make her understand something wasn't right with her rider.
Silentblossom ran up to the girl and tried to hoist her from the ground, even though she wasn't all that big herself. She looked over at Daybreak and make a chirping noise that sounded similar to what Daybreak herself sounded like. At the command, Daybreak moved next to Silentblossom and moved her body underneath the tall girl. Silentblossom jumped onto Daybreak's back behind the fallen viking girl. She looked over at the other dragon, a species she had never seen before. "I am taking her to the village to get some water...you should follow..." She patted Daybreaks head and the white dragon pushed off the ground and flapped her way quickly but as smoothly as she could towards the heart of Berk.

The stranger was large and dense with muscle so she wasn't an easy load, Treeth knew that from experience. She made a sound that could be described as an agreement and though she was too weak to do much help, she rose to follow the albino and rider pair. The dragon was concerned for her rider, she'd never acted like this before, so Treeth hoped the other human knew what she was doing. As they made their way to the village, Treeth flew under Daybreak, she was weak like her rider, but she would do anything to protect her. She flew below in case the other dragon couldn't hold the weight of the pair, the albino seemed small to her. Or the unlikely chance that her rider slipped. When they made it to the village and into land, the great green beauty glide out of the way circling once before she landed herself. She stood tall looking around, this was nothing like home and she was uncomfortable with it. There were strangers all around but her rider needed help, and so did she..

Interesting Gekko

Soul smiled as the gush of air blasted though his main like hair as Blaze skimmed the top of the shimmering sea with his hook like claws, Soul called to the Nadder "Come on, I know you can go faster!" as he gripped on tighter to the Blaze's leather 'seat'. The Dragon let out a bird like squawk before providing a great increase in speed, Soul leaned forward trying to get into a more aerodynamic pose so he wasn't torn off the back of Blaze by the wind. Blaze soars up towards the sky narrowly avoiding some stone pillars connecting to the island of Berk. Soul over looked the island looking for the 'Mead Hall' which was easily identified, He smiled and muttered "Dive..." the Nadder flapped keeping them hovering over the island before dropping and wrapping its wings in towards its chest, Soul held his body close against the Nadder preparing to call out again to him at a second notice. The two dived down towards the town roughly on target to crash into the ground right in front of the Mead Hall, But Soul called out "Up!" Blaze quickly pulled the wings from under him and pulled them to the side twisting them to the correct angle to pull the dragon horizontal, The speed behind the two was incredible as they narrowly avoided a hut, "That was great!" Soul shouted to the dragon as their speed began to deplete. Soul smiled to Blaze who turned his head to see the boy "Let head to the centre and we'll see if we cant get you some fish?" the dragon let out another squawk before turning around and heading for the town.
Blaze gently came in with a slow landing away from the centre as it seemed a lot of the riders where gathering there, Soul hopped off and the two began walking towards the one of the many fish stalls around Berk and asked the merchant running the shop for a particularly large looking fish hanging from the stall from its mouth, The merchant grabbed it down for the boy as he handed over the correct amount it. Soul tossed it to the crimson coloured Nadder who quickly caught it in his mouth and swallowed it down in a single gulp, "You certainly don't waste anything do you..." he said with a smile and a little laugh.

Devoted Zealot

From a house on the edge of town, close to the forest, a rustling sound could be heard. Then the sound of metal before a loud squack sound could be heard, followed by little chitters. “Ha ha, very funny.” Came a voice from inside before the door opened to reveal a young Viking, leading out a colorful dragon. “Spitfire! Come on girl!” He called jokingly, seeing the Deadly Nadder examining the new perch on the second floor, which Ulf had just finished the day before. “You got through it last night just fine. Anyways, you are the one who insisted on sleeping in the house now and we couldn't have you squeezing through the door every time chunky butt.” Spitfire bristled a little at the comment before catching on that her rider wasn't serious. With that Spitfire went back to examining the new doorway on the second floor. Ulf turned and continued walking, figuring the Dragon would figure it out eventually. And he was right. It wasn’t thirty seconds before he felt his inertia lifted upwards, as Spitfire forced her nose under Ulf, and tossed him in the air, before catching the young man in the saddle, but before Ulf could even grab hold of the handles on the leather saddle, the dragon had taken off at full speed. “Hey! Slow down! You wanna throw me off?!” He laughed before situating himself into the leather seat. It was time for them to do their usual laps around the island. As they were about to come around and pass Berk’s village, something odd caught his eye on the ground. “Is that a new dragon?” He asked himself, before getting a reply from his scaly friend. New Dragons were not something totally unusual if you were part of the Academy, but since finding Spitfire, Ulf had yet to even attend a class, or much less visit the old arena in which it was housed. So his experience was a lot of trial and error… and pain.

“Maybe we should check this out. What do you think?” Spitfire looked back and chirped quickly before going in for a smooth soft landing near the entryway to the docks. He was well out of the way of the crowd, as he preferred. Ulf noticed a Day Fury, which he had seen before and the new dragon. It seemed the Day Fury carried it’s rider who appeared in poor health. In another direction he saw a crimson Nadder by a fish stall in the market. Ulf decided to approach him, rather then fight a gathering crowd. Ulf, dismounted Spitfire before leading her to the market stall. “So, any idea what is going on here?” Ulf asked, his arms crossed, as he gestured to the other dragons. He wasn't sure of the fellows name, since he had been isolated to his home for so long, but figured he would ask anyways.
