Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!



One of the premier schools of magic in the known world, and the most highly acclaimed in the United Kingdom, Hogwarts has stood tall over the Black Lake for ages. Even the actions of the fallen Dark Lord could not end the school's time teaching young wizards and witches their talents.

Our scene opens at the start of a new school year, as bright-eyed first years and experienced seventh years are boarding the crimson train to another year at Hogwarts!

The Rules

General Behavior ↴↴↴
First of all, don't be a douche. It's that simple. In-character rivalries and enemies are welcomed, encouraged even, as is in-character romance and drama, but out of character, please try to at least be civil with each other. Second of all, please, your character is not all powerful. The roleplay is LGBT friendly and gay/straight/bi/trans/etc characters are welcome. If that bothers you, leave.

I'm not going to brand this roleplay as 'literate' or 'semi-lit' or whatever. However, I do have some expectations. There is an absolute minimum of two paragraphs consisting of five sentences per post. There is also a maximum of five paragraphs per post - no one likes reading enourmous walls of text. Writer's block is understandable but two paragraphs of five sentences is not that much to ask for. At least give your fellow roleplayers something to work with. Be descriptive, work those adjectives!

Please send me the reservations titled with your character's House(s) for students and the subject they teach for teachers. Title the profile PMs with your character's name(s). You may have up to three characters but they must be from different Houses if you are playing students. To keep the roleplay to a manageable size I'm only going to accept three characters per House. If this changes it will be announced.
