What to do with my hair....

My hair is usually straight.
I just recently got it cut but now I want to add some color(at my own expense my mom wouldn't pay for it)
But I'm not sure what to do?
I've had highlights and ombre before but I'm not sure it that's good choice for me but willing to do either of those again if it's really worth it
I want something that still look professional but still be noticeable that I have done some coloring to my hair.
Open to suggestion!

I think an ombre would look fantastic on you, and since you said you wanted to go a little more 'professional' an unnatural color wouldn't be the best idea.
