Unable to get rid of images in v2

I've recently switched from classic to current and last time I used current was years ago.

There are some old images that I had on that, just some big color blocks I was using to cover some of the background, but I can't get rid of them.

I can't reach/click the [x] and when I try to drag it gives me the error icon. Then if I try to resize all it does it highlight the image and not recognize that I'm clicking the resize icon on the bottom right.
