The Gold Economy
With the MP in overdrive prices will constantly fluctuate in this shop.
I'm basing prices off of items and gold that can be gained easily through the Daily Chance game.
Heart Charms alone go for about 15 million gold now, and it's not uncommon to get more than one a day through Daily Chance.

Naming Rules
❦ Names should be single words or word contractions (Moss, Sparrowtail, Peko).
❦ As long as the name isn't a common human name (Susan, Michael) and follows the above rule it's fine.
❦ We do not allow duplicate names so please check the owner's list to make sure your name isn't taken!

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep...
... and they hide a very peculiar secret. If you sail far enough across the ocean, just slightly west of the northern star, you may find yourself there - though very few ever have. Some say the only real way to get there is through dreaming, when the thin veil between the waking world and the one of magic and the strange is so much easier to slip through.

This strange forest at the edge of the world is inhabited by tiny critters. Or else, the trees are just extremely large, along with everything else here. In fact, everything seems much larger than yourself, too -- and... when did you start to have paws for hands?! Something isn't right, here!

Suddenly, as you look up again, a bear approaches you, covered in a cloak of feathers, its eyes oddly sparkling in the dark.

"It's been a very long time since one of your kind has appeared here. What's a wolf doing here, anyway?" A wolf? Why is this bear talking to you? Something doesn't seem right! Yet, as you follow him, dazed and confused, you pass by a puddle and look over -- only to see your own much-more-furry face looking back at you. Surely this must be a dream?

Setting
The woods are a place beyond the world, which technically does not exist! It can be found through dreaming, though many who visit it tend to eventually forget about it as little more than just that. For some, however, the dream becomes the reality -- and there are some animals who say they once dreamt they were something else, a large creature which walked on two legs and rode in things called cars but, of course, they were only dreams, right?

As for the woods themselves, they are ancient beyond memory and seem to have always been. Most have never seen the entirety of the forest, though some claim it's part of an island, surrounded by a glittering blue sea on all sides.

About the Pets
These critters are super tiny and cute! They're so small they could fit in the palm of your hand, even the biggest among them. Yet for being so small they sure do seem to find ways to get around...

Wild Boar
On average between 3-4 inches in length. These Wild Boars love to find small muddy puddles to roll around in! Their favorite foods seem to be strawberries, and they often make their homes in wild strawberry bushes. They have evolved in a unique way so that their yound are born in little egg-like sacs that resemble strawberries. Only male Wild Boar have tusks, but the females can still be pretty tough if threatened.

Deer
So cute! They only get to be about 4 inches tall, and the males get little antlers, too. These deer like to hide their young fawns in little puffs of cotton until they're old enough to come out on their own. By that time the young deer is able to fend for itself but will often stay in a small herd just like regular deer. They're very quick for their size, and very agile, making them difficult for predators to catch!

Panthers
These teeny tiny kitties get to be about 6 inches in length, including the tail. Their favorite prey items are small minnows and clams - for those with the patience to open them. They are rather fond of lizards for hunting companions. Strangely enough, though, for a feline, these panthers tend to make their dens inside the hollow hearts of lily pads and are easily small enough to walk atop the buoyant plants.

Wolves
These little guys get to be about 5 inches in length. They are opportunists who will hunt any smaller critter they can, from minnows to insects. They will usually make a den out of the skulls of birds or other animals they find lying around. Despite their small stature, these wolves can pack a pretty wicked bite if threatened and tend to hunt in packs averaging 4-6 individuals.

Bears
They're like little living teddies! Standing upright they get about 5 inches tall, though some can be as big as 6. Most bears tend to live in large groups and are happy to eat just about anything they get their paws on. They're fond of making dens in trees where they can camouflage their young inside acorns and are out of reach of most land-dwelling predators.

Familiars are unisex.

About Familiars
Familiars make great companions, helpers, scouts and even body guards! It's a tough world out there for these little critters and sometimes having an extra friend around can make life that much easier.

Birds
They're great for helping to get hard-to-reach snacks off of trees, as well as keeping a lookout for any predators. Sometimes wolves and panthers also use them to help hunt. The more colorful specimens are prized for their beautiful feathers.

Mice
These guys make pretty good scouts as well, being quick and able to climb trees. They are also quite friendly and make wonderful, cuddly, friends for any pet -- though tend to be a bit more wary of panthers and wolves.

Lizards
Lizards are great for all pets. Even wolves and panthers love them because they are wonderful with helping to hunt! Other pets like them, too, because they are self sufficient and can sometimes help scare off smaller predators.

A Guide to Your Cert
❦ Name: The name of your pet or familiar.
❦ Owner: Your username
❦ D.O.B.: Date of Birth, usually the day the pet was certed or dropped off.
❦ Gender: Self explanatory (we hope).
❦ Gen #: The generation of your pet. If your pet is "Gen 2" or greater its parents names will be displayed.
❦ Lineart: The lineart was done by DarkHeartedSorrows, or DHS.
❦ Color: Your colorists username will be displayed here.

Cert Colors
❦ Each cert will be adjusted to match or compliment the coloring of your pet, as seen in the examples above.
❦ Alternatively you may request a certain color when posting in certing.

The underbrush is full of noise in this part of the woods - I wonder what the commotion is all about...
Animals of all sorts are gathering in front of a rather roguish looking mouse, and his odd assortment of goods. Some of them glitter in the dappled sunlight, drawing the eyes of all those present, and others are simply strange and bemusing to gaze upon. Where in the world could he have found such interesting items...?

When asked, he only says he found them in strange, giant, wooden boxes washed up near the beach one day. Giant wooden boxes? As if! Well, no matter where he found them, it's clear that he won't have any trouble trading for most of them....
