Shiny Darumaka hates me...

I've been breeding Darumakas for several hours now, and I'm using my Japanese Ditto heighten the chances of getting a shiny one. However, over thirty Darumakas later, I still haven't gotten a shiny. I know the chances are still one in over one-thousand, but still. I can't help but think I'm unlucky with it. Does anyone know any other ways to give a better chance of getting a shiny?
