Stories of the Sun

One day I will be beautiful and will be flying
One day I’ll be able to think of you without crying
One day I’ll leave this sucky place
I’ll end up somewhere beyond outer space
I’ll come back to tell you stories of the sun
And about all the fun
I’ll tell you the name of the moon
One day I’ll break out of my cocoon
It’s like you create your own prison and you can’t get out
And once you do you don’t know what it’s all about
But I will and I’ll be able to fly
And I’ll never have to say goodbye
Because Jupiter, Pluto, Neptune and Mars
Mercury, Venus, and all of the stars
They’ll all be there, forever and ever
They won’t leave ever or never
But you, you are unpredictable and will sometimes leave
So in my heart I must believe
That you’ll wait for me every year
Wait until the fog will clear
And then I’ll come back to tell you it all
And hopefully I won’t ever fall
So I’ll tell you stories of the sun
And about all the fun
And maybe, someday, you’ll come too
And I’ll show you that dreams really can come true
But that might never happen at this rate
Look at the picture, look at our fate
We’ll never get out, we’ll never leave
We can’t hope, we can’t believe
Because we’re trapped in a world that is crying
But maybe when I’m beautiful, I’ll be flying
And then, one day, we’ll be able to have fun
And tell endless stories of the sun
