Moving On

Only attraction and infatuation,
that's all I have left to say,
I can't say "I love you",
when there's no meaning behind it,
in the first place.

You may have been my sunshine years ago,
but now you're just a big fat cloud,
that's blocking my sun away,
I've been blind,
I was wasting my time,
when there could have been someone,
that can take your place.

I guess I put my hopes up too many times,
when I realize your just not interested,
that's why I have to accept it,
I have to fight it off,
and move on from this idiotic love,
that I created.

I promise I'll move on with positive thoughts,
even though saying insults of you in my mind,
I'll take it,
there's no point holding a grudge on you,
it will be really stupid,
when we're not even close anyway.

So what's left there to say?
almost ten years of infatuation,
had left me numb when it comes to love,
It made me see a different view,
what love can be sometimes,
the one that not a lot of people,
don't look forward to at all.

So I'll close this door,
and open another door,
because I know I deserve better,
I don't mind being single at the moment,
but there's no need to be stuck on this situation forever.
