Modern day 'humans'

A poem about the corrupted nature of us, humans.

There are a lot of people
that would want to watch someone
lose completely everything.

There are a lot of people
that would want to see
someone cry their hearts out
and spill out their deepest secrets
until their hearts are bleeding.

There are a lot of people
that would get satisfaction
from seeing a happy man
one day turn completely miserable.

Jealousy, envy, greed, spite

There are some people
that take pleasure in seeing
people suffering
humans like us,

There are some people
that want complete strangers
to feel sadness
pain,
and suffering.

There are some people
that have completely lost
what it really means to be,
human.

CE! I'd really like to get your opinion on my poem. I'm actually quite proud of this one, I made this a while ago after getting inspired by reading a psychological detective thriller by Chris Carter, think the book was "One by one", for anyone who ever heard of it. ^^

There's a lot of telling rather than showing. You could illustrate these points with imagery rather than just telling us there are people who are like this. Show us people who want to see our sadness; who prefer to watch suffering than happiness; who smile as someone loses everything.

The flow is disjointed. Also, you began repetition with the line "there are a lot of people" and changed it to repetition of "there are some people."
