So guys, I'm in the process of upgrading the (stock) pickups on my guitar. I mainly play music ranging from Parkway Drive to Dance Gavin Dance (so distortion is mainly all that I use). I've been mainly looking into the EMG 81/85 setup. Before this turns into a Blackout vs EMG war, I want to know really what is better: The EMG 81/85 combo or the EMG 81/60 combo. Ive heard that the 85 is muddier than the 60, but I dont really know. At the moment, I'm still on the 81/85 train, but let me know what you think! Thanks :3
