Just like the title says, Wakfu recently turned off their subscription based model which means the world is now fully accessible to everyone for free.

If you don't know what this mmo is about, the quick explanation is that it has a tactical turn based combat system similar to Final Fantasy Tactics. Characters move on a grid and have a certain number of action and movement points each turn. There are 15 different classes to choose from and each one has access to three elements which allows for a lot of build versatility.

They did add an optional membership similar to what TERA did when it went free to play. This link shows exactly what the benefits are as opposed to playing for free.
