Manga, Music, and You

Manga is special in that you can choose your own music to read it to, and sometimes the tunes stick with the story.
Throughout my 10-year-long-and-going-strong manga fandom, I've come to associate the following songs with certain stories:

Memoro de la Stono - Distant Worlds Final Fantasy XI
Kingdom

(BEST manga I've read in 5-6 years, I strongly recommend it!! Hasn't been "popularized" since the anime/manga aren't licensed yet, but plenty popular in Japan.)

Eyeshield 21

Intuition by DJ Encore feat. Engelina
Fist of the North Star

(Took me forever to find this song again since I read Fist of the North Star 7 years ago. =w= )


Tok Tok by Mighty Mouth
Oldboy

(SO TERRIBLE compared to the movie - not worth the read unless you really want to read the "original story" )


My music tastes have definitely changed from when some of the older series were read, but whenever I think back on the song or the series, I can't imagine one without the other thanks to putting it on repeat while reading. x'D
