Smaug the Magnificent is obviousssly the best of all Tolkien's characters. Things he has going for him

1. He's a dragon
2. He sleeps all he wants in a pile of gold and riches
3. He has plenty of gold and riches
4. He does whatever he wants, he wants your awesome Dwarven stronghold, he casually takes it.
5. People gave him the moniker "the magnificent"
6. His underbelly is bedazzled. Which authentic gemstones wink
7. He has a huge area of land named after him, on maps, "the Desolation of Smaug"

Cons
1. He's missing a gemstone on his bedazzled underbelly (a major oversight on his part)
