But I like them both equally as far as the book goes. They both have more character.

Agreed. There's a meme out there somewhere with Aragorn whispering to Eowyn, saying "On the count of three, we go and steal Legolas' shampoo" ^.^ But in the book there's way more tension and a little age competition!

I like both characters, but more specifically Aragorn. While they're both wonderful, in-depth characters, I like Aragorn's history better. I've done a bit of reading up on his past and I think it's interesting.

At first i thought Legolas was fascinating (when it first came out), (as a character) not because he's apparently "ever so dreamy". However as ive become more and more of a mature fan of the books and movies i find my self girlishly squealing when I see Aragorn, lol. He's manly, heroic, handsome, and dirty, and by-golley i just want to ravage him! He's got manly stubble!!

So yes i voted for Aragorn! I still love Legolas's character and i def have a thing for elves...but i gotta give it to the ranger with manly stubble heart redface
