I wore this yesterday to my first Lolita meet up and I was so excited to get to go to that.



The skirt is from F+F and the tights are from Sandysshop on Storenvy. The blouse is a thrift store find and the shoes are a payless find. My boyfriend, Sam, made the hairpiece.

Oh yes I agree. I hated my hair here. I'm thinking about seeing what my natural waves can do for me next time. I'll have to make sure they aren't frizzy though. Later I'm going to invest in a Lockshop wig

My petti has like 5 layers and it's really cumbersome to wear. I don't think I need any more poof than that. sweatdrop

I will be buying a Lolita specific blouse one of these days soon, though.

I didn't want to over do it. I think I'll invest in some bodyline shoes eventually. I heard that after their valentine's sale they are out of everything though so I guess I'll wait until after they've restocked.

A little advise for next time though, like another girl said, you may want a fuller petticoat and add some volume to your hair. Just a thought. Color isn't always easy to do and you did really well. How did your meet go?

Very cute first coord! Maybe you can get a smaller petti to layer with the one you already have to fluff up the skirt. Those cheap leg avenue pettis are good for that. (that's just about the only thing they're good for!)
