What are you [going to be] majoring/minoring in?

Exactly as the topic says: When you reach college/uni, or if you're already there, what are you planning on majoring in, and why?

Are you double majoring? Major-minoring? Double major + minoring? Purely on interest, or for practical reasons?

Me, I'll probably be Majoring in French, mabye minoring in either Business or History. I'm not too good at math at all though so I may just opt for History minor as opposed to a Business minor. Edit -- I'm majoring in French because I have an interest in the language and culture xD so not really for practical purposes. Mabye if I can couple in a practical but enjoyable Major alongside it, it'd be worthwhile though o.o;

Mabye I'll double major oO; Does anyone have any suggestions on what major would do well alongside a French Major? A minor too if possible.

And then going to law school.

And really, the only sensible thing I can think of with a French Major is getting a teaching degree.

And yeah, I'm really trying to enjoy my last year of highschool :3 I'll miss everyone.

I've been told that by a bunch of people actually o.o; it gives a bunch of broad job prospects too. Mabye coupled in with French it'd be good o.o; I definately want to persue French as I'm good at it and am interested in the language/culture.

I'm majoring in English and double minoring in Religion (Christianity, specifically) and Medieval Studies.

...I'm going to end up a librarian or working for a publishing company.

Major:
New Media Interactive development: focus on the technological aspect of it, coding. But meh, you take classes in Graphic Design as well. Basically, Wed Design.
&&
Marketing.

Minor: ******** all. Languages. Maybe German? Maybe Japanese?

XD I'm not going to be starting college until the fall of 2009. I just like planning ahead, and History is really my only passion that has a chance of having a career attached(the arts are my other passion..XD), so..History major. And everyone tells me I'd make a good lawyer. And unlike with teaching, I would actually make some serious money.

If I can get to where I want to go with the degree I get than I'm fine with that.

History is part of language and history is part of Culture. So it plays well into what you are looking to get.

Do realize that getting a degree doesn't mean you will have a job once you get out. It just means that if you do get a job you will probably be payed a little bit more.

Ah cool :3! I have a friend who's planning on majoring in Biology as well.

Yeah, I realize that xD I'm just trying to get as large of an education towards what I find interesting, as possible. A slight boost in the chance of a career afterwards is a nice plus though.
