Valentines Day? Please can someone enlighten me to what it's about.

Does it have historical relevance?
Biblical relevance?

Or is it more of a Corporate Facism Day for Hallmark and Lindtt to acheive ungoly amount of profit?

some dude use to make hear shaped cards and give chocolates and stuff to either his daughter or his significant other. I can't remember which. I think it was her birthday or something... I can't remember. I'll wikipedia it.

There isn't one real answer to that, though I suppose it does have historical roots like most holidays. The History Channel and Wikipedia might be the best places to read up on it.
