Achluophobia (darkness, and it's gotta be genetic cause so are my two younger brothers)
Algophobia (pain--main reason I wont get a tattoo, cause I know it's gonna hurt)
Altophobia (heights--only if I gotta look straight down though. if I'm looking out over the horizon, I'm okay)
Apiphobia (bees--allergic)
Ataxophobia (disorder/untidiness--I HATE mess and clutter)
Claustrophobia (enclosed spaces--elevators in particular)
Coulrophobia (clowns--all thanks to "the Poltergeist" and "IT" )
Dentophobia (very first dentist like to start extracting before you were numb)
Spheksophobia (wasps--also allergic)

I have reasons for all of them, as most phobics do. The sad thing, I was actually tested for all of the above, and they're listed in my medical records. sad

... in a sense, Humanity. Nothing good seems to come of it.

Though phobia is defined as an IRRATIONAL fear, the only one in my list that's irrational is failure. We're all bound to fail sometime, why I insist to myself that I need to be PERFECT is beyond me. I'm not usually the one to live up to social norms or obey the cultural laws. But in this sense I fear failure in almost all aspects... be it human relationships, academics, employment, etc. Incurable diseases and the majority of humanity isn't really illogical or irrational... because incurable diseases ARE, indeed, a reason to be afraid. And humans are pretty nasty critters when you get right down to it.

I am scared of wide open spaces void of any people...... especially at night time. At home I have to have my door closed at night time lol because everything is quiet....... totally opposite of being claustrophobic lol. Thats really my only fear really.

To be exact... you never know what happens in the night. I feel safer at a confined space in the night as I know that the place around me is the place around me and not a billion other factors that may occur if it was open. If it ends of being very few people when I am walking at night... I start getting scared lol. Really I feel safer in a dark elevator that is small over a dark elevator that is like 2-3 times bigger.....let alone I already feel safe enough in an elevator.

Lygophobia (Nyctophobia): fear of dark places/being in dark places(If it is associated with it being wide open spaces...)
Agoraphobia: Fear of open spaces lol but it has to be dark. But the underlying is the unsuring situation in the dark lol
