... than in the U.S.? What do you think? I've never been there so ...

Profitable Prophet

I've been there, but not for too long; although the tensity of stuff didn't seem as uptight there.. but like I said, I was only there for a bit.

So I'm not entirely sure, really. :3

You can't generalize. In some places, yes, in others, no. Then again, some places in the US are less accepting than others too. So...
Generally Europe is not as open as America is. America is more diverse, so there is more racism. Europe generally keeps to itself, and doesn't let outsiders move in. I think if they were like America in letting other cultures/types of people move in, they'd have the same kind of racism that we have here.

But yeah, I think it's too hard to generalize. I know that anti-semitism is more intense there than in America, if that can count for racism.
i don't like there porn. they have a adult company that drugs girls and they have sex with them while there drug out. I swear the ones i saw, i thought the girls were seriously dead, they wasn't moving and i not once seen them breath air threw there lungs.

That probably happens in america too.
Yes.
In fact, most countries are OPENLY racist.
(Example: France has outlawed the wear of turbans and those wraps that women wear)
And if you're Jewish or black?
Good luck.

Though, if you choose you can stick to Scandinavian and U.K countries where racism is considerably lessened.
It really depends. Some European countries, probably the less economically developed ones especially, are more 'racist' than others. Its hard to call a whole country racist though, I doubt that there is more than a couple of countries in this day and age that have racist policies.

Here in England the government is very concerned with appearing politically correct and embrace multi-culturalism, which I don't really totally agree with. There's a lot of tolerance, but also a lot of bigotry among the masses, the same as probably pretty much as everywhere, Europe or otherwise.
I've lived in France all my life, until last year since I got adopted from a family here in the U.S.
And where I was, they were racist as hell. I didn't see their issue though.
i live in England

it is obsesed with stoppnig racism and all 'capital of culture' in liverpool and stuff

yet, YET it doesn't change peoples views

countrys arent racist, people are

and no matter how much the government try to fool themselves people are gonna be racist no matter what they say =.=

but in the same way people aren't all racist, i actualy dont know any truely racist people

i mean sure they'll make jokes but they make as many about the person with pink hair so i dont think its aimed as racist, its just a mean joke

Im black and ive been to France 3 times, they defo aint racist there, well not where ive been anyway. All countries are racist in some way, so you cant really say. Especially in the UK, where i live, they say we let way too many immigrants in and its starting to get out of hand, thats all you ever hear about on the news. But it really depends where you are though, for example, where i live, we have lots of different people and your more likely to get beaten up if your racist rofl
Yet, the UK still has some racist places though. confused

the uk is ridiculous about asylum seekers and refugees
half the population complain about it, yet don't know the difference between the two
they'll say that the asylum seekers are taking all the jobs, the ones that they're too proud to take anyway, like a bin man, yet asylum seekers can't get a job
and it can take them up to 5 years to even get an INTERVIEW to be considered for refuge
when they manage to get an interview, it's incredibly hard to get any legal support, because the government will only pay 6 hours of a solicitor's time, when it takes 8 hours, and not many solicitiors will work two hours for free
in the time they're waiting for an interview, the benefits they'll get are 20% less than the minimum the government says a family needs to live on
and then, if they don't get refuge, they get no benefits and incredibly basic emergency health care, and aren't legally allowed to get a job
which means that they can't afford to even go back to where they came from
the government's also trying to pass a law saying that if you're refused asylum, you can't get ANY healthcare whatsoever, or you'll have to pay, which they obviously can't afford.

after having talked to a refugee and hearing his story, i wholeheartedly support the refugee council and the work they do.
check them out.
