There's a lolspeak bible on the net somewhere. Very awesome. And there's the webcomic called "holy bibble", which basically tells the story of the bible, only way better. They include Lilith because they rock. Also, the commentary seems to be just as, if not more than, entertaining as the comic.

Adam and Lilith were created from dirt, I believe Eve was the product of Adam's rib.

As far as I'm concerned, that's a metaphor for something. Something I'm sure I could eloquently describe if it wasn't 5 in the morning. But it is, and so I can't be bothered.

And yeah, you're right. ..About Adam and Eve, at least. I'm pretty sure you're right about Lilith too, but she isn't mentioned at all in the normal bible read by Christians.

You mean the one that has been edited over and over again by those in positions of power within the religon? Lilith is a Jewish story...she was created at the same time as Adam, and then was banished because she refused to behave in a subservient manner towards Adam.

I'd recommend reading the bible...the whole thing, learn about the history, of it etc...and think about everything you read and learn. If you come out of it believing, or still believing (I don't know what you believe now and dont' want to assume one way or the other), then you will at least be better prepared to defend your beliefs in debate.

Yeah, I've been studying the bible a bit more than I have before lately, but studying and planning for college eats up a lot of the time I spend reading. XD;

Well, some of those prophecies has ALREADY come true. How can people believe that we evolved from... some goop or monkies. It just doesn't make any sence. If we came from monkies, then we would have proof already because then the monkies we have in captivity would turn into a human. It's just not right. In order to understand everything, you really need to read the whole thing to understand. Even go to a church if you're stuck.

I have read the whole King James Version of the bible. All of it. I started at Genesis Chapter 1 verse 1, and finished with a nice enjoyable rereading of Revelations. It contradicts itself. The god of the old testament is petty and vindictive. The god of the new testament is wimpy and pandering to rome. The gospels cannot agree upon what happened in what order, or even who belongs in the geneology and in what order.

God created the sun, and He created the moon. Humans don't like to admit that they are wrong so they try to make things up that has to do with science. Read the Bible, it does make scence if you read the whole thing.

I don't think you understand. God doesn't just have 1 emotion he has tons. He may be jealous or happy. But not jealous in the way we think. Our minds are to small to understand it all. A verse says in Psalm somewhere- God is slow to anger yet abounding in love. Oh i have to go. Just study the Bible.
