I've walked in on my dad masturbate watching porn too many times to count. It's horrible at first and haunts you for a bit but honestly after the third time it stopped phasing me. I've never had that specific thing happen to me, but I have sort of caught my parents going at it. And that's really not fun at all.
I was so scarred initially I drove off to a shopping center parking lot (at 10pm) and just sat in the car playing on my phone trying to get my mind to blank out.

Bring it up with him if you honestly feel like doing so would make things better (you would feel reassured, and/or it would keep him from accidentally getting caught again). Well that's pretty obvious, and why I wash my hands and use hand sanitizer regularly. Still doesn't excuse him doing it at the dining table of all places. If I was caught doing that by my family member my mother would kill and skin me and make my skin into a blanket for the dog.

You are right it could have been worse. I would never wish your situation to happen to someone else. There are just people out there who really aren't considerate of other people and only care about themselves. And when those people are those who raise you and who you depend on, it's really sad because they are the ones who are supposed to take care of you and guide you through life.

It sounds like you both are out of the worst of it now. I hope the both of you take that experience and turn it into something positive like raising your son so he never goes through the same situation and teaching him to be a better person. In some ways parents who go through something like that have the potential to be the best kind of parents because they know first hand how bad life can be.

You're exactly right. She wasn't considerate. She simply didn't care. She brought her only living child into her sex life without even flinching. But thankfully she turned herself around after she got sick.

Honestly, to this day, my son's dad isn't in his life very much. He's ... "odd". Of course I can't really blame him because of his upbringing. He was a virgin (and I was too LOL but that's irrelevant) until after we got together.
