i feel on the verge of tears, was gonna go post this in the pet sub forum, but i just found out that my dog might be dying and there might be nothing me or my family can do.
Is he old?
yeah, but that's not why. apparently the person that was relaying what was going on to me assumed worst case scenario and turns out it's not as bad as they thought and he will most likely be ok.
the vet figured out what was wrong, but an uncommon symptom occurred and the vet is waiting to see if it goes away with the medicine they gave him. i could be more upset about the grief caused due to the misunderstanding, but i'm mostly just relieved that means my dog is going to be around for a while longer. i spent the morning with him after posting here and he seemed better.
just kinda feel a little awkward that i spoke too soon.
