I think I would prefer that people not have to ask if I was a guy or girl when meeting me. That would get very annoying after a while.

I couldn't pass for male unless there was a Mr. Pregnant lookalike contest, but most people class me as "butch". My style is somewhat androgynous in normal life, but for dressier days I like to think of it as "girl in drag". I enjoy the idea of wearing things that I know all the Bi/Gay guys in the room wish they were wearing. I'm big on draped garments and scarves that move when I move, contrasted with a bit of industrial.

Androgyny is more than just outward appearances, it is also about gender identity.
