"Up and down, up and down.
I will lead them up and down.
I am feared in field in town."

A chuckle escaped Kyrie's lips after reciting one of Puck's (otherwise known as Robin Goodfellow in a less popular note) tortured lines from the play Midsummer Night's Dream. It was an interesting performance, albeit obviously amateurish. It was a small performance in celebration of the night of Samhain, popularly known among common mortals as Halloween. It was a strange choice of a piece to perform on such a night when usually the plays held in the city theater during the past years' Halloween involved scaring the wits out of the kids who watched the yearly play. It was the very reason why Kyrie watched this year-- the change of pace, of tradition.

The night was livelier than any other night of the year, and he knew exactly why. In this one night when it is known that the veil between the mortal world and the Otherworld is lifted, beings like him walked among mortals, hidden under glamour spells. While humans enjoyed and danced the night away, his kind blends into the crowd to celebrate as well. Some of them celebrate with pure intentions, while others not much so-- where he stands at the moment, well, that one's a secret. Perhaps he'll just enjoy the night simply put, or maybe, just maybe, his usual celebration of Samhain might experience a change of pace just like what happened to that annual play.

Kyrie headed to the central park, a site very much popular to his kind as well as mortals, though the latter continued to be ignorant of such things. One of the Samhain gates stood in the park, hidden from human eyes yet clear as crystal for him and the other fae. The gates that separate his world and the human world stays wide open for every kind of fae to pass through for one night. The humans always conduct an annual bonfire in the central park during Samhain, and unknown to them, as they danced around that fire during their merry making, creatures they only know to be fantasy join them, as big as life. Usually, Kyrie just stands afar from that ring of dancing, undulating bodies, but there are times, interesting, rare times, when he'd join. It would seem that this night is one of those rare times.

A slow smile appeared on Kyrie's face as he spotted a certain redhead beauty who danced among the crowd near the crackling fire. She had gathered quite a few starers specifically from the males that were lucky enough to be near her. Her head shone like wild fire against her pale skin, her lips were incredibly red, curved into a seductive smirk, and her eyes, bright emerald, swept the crowd and stopped when she saw him. Ah, temptress.

Kyrie bowed slightly in acknowledgement of the female before he headed towards her direction. She was really too beautiful to be human, of course. She was a siren, a member of the Unseelie court, just as he was. The crowd seemed to stop their movements when he and the female siren which he knew as Anya came together. Indeed, the two of them were a beautiful sight.

                              "Iri~"

"Im right here m'love. Enjoying the night?"

"I was waiting for you. My cold-eyed Gancanagh."

The smile on the male fae widened upon hearing those words she purred against his ear, just for him. Two creatures made for temptation, the crowd around them seemed to absorb the raw lust that the two exhumed just by standing next to each other. Either was trying to pull each other in, but enjoyed it nonetheless. Anya sang quiet notes as she and Kyrie danced. It was quite a pull, even for someone like Kyrie. Shivering with delight, he leaned down and pressed his lips against the siren's lips, and it alone caused the girl to melt completely in his arms. It was inevitable. A breathy chuckle escaped Kyrie, he won their little skirmishes once more.

                              "My siren?"

"One day I'll tempt you enough."

The brown-haired male threw his head back and laughed in amusement. He could hear the lust in the siren's voice as bright as the fire that burned beside them, and he reveled in it. However, Kyrie had no plans to sleep with her, he never did contrary to popular belief. He didnt want Anya to get addicted to him as bad as he allowed human females to be. Human girls were easy to get rid of, once he disappeared, he was never to be seen again, but Anya-- she would be a different case. No doubt if she got addicted enough, Kyrie would never see the end of her. And as early as now, he knew that wouldnt be fun. Just extremely annoying. With an affectionate pat on the siren's cheek, Kyrie pulled away from her arms despite that whimper he heard. No doubt another male would fall prey for Anya before the night ends.

As casually as he broke into the sweating crowd, Kyrie walked back out and settled on a nearby bench in the park, still overlooking the celebrating crowd. He leaned back on the bench and pushed a hand in his pocket, pulling out a smoke which he lit soon afterwards. The night was only starting for him, just as how his cigarette is just starting to burn.

        It
was around six o’clock when the house of Nyler’s started bustling around. Oh, yes the whole mansion was always dancing with parties and such, but tonight was All Hollows Eve. The night when everyone could be anyone or anything else! A servant could be a queen; a human could be a monster. All Hollows Eve was a time to be scared, to have fun. Of course there were many who never allowed going out at night in these times, crazy religious people. Though the Nyler family were not those kinds of people. No, they were people who had as much fun as they could. Parties had their name written all over them. Though, they were not respected. The past few family members of the Nyler were thieves, murders, or some were prostitutes. But, that was the past. The new generation, Tatiana Nyler, was to be their prodigy. She was to be married off to some Duke a few places away. Tatiana’s parents were both in great debt, but they still threw annual party. He party of all parties.

Tonight’s party was to be filled with fire dancers, a few music players, and a play. A play! It was to be exciting. It was supposed to be filled with fun and perhaps a bit of confronting. Costumes were to be a big thing to! Without costumes people with invitation weren’t allowed to come inside. Food was supposed to look like mites were in it, or even eye balls. It was supposed to look disgusting, but smelled delicious. All Hollows Eve, apparently, was the Nyler’s family biggest party. Christmas was their second. That didn’t matter now. What mattered now was the preparation of the whole thing.

Currently, the daughter “prodigy” was having her bloody red hair twirled with braids, flowers, and bits of broken glass in it. Blue silk, the color of the spring sky, was wrapped around the girl’s body. Fake wings were tied to her back. She was to be a fairy queen, unlike her friend who was to be elves and monsters. Some even dared to be “prostitutes” wearing short dresses. Tatiana would never, ever, even play to be a harlot. No, it would lead to gossip. Of course everything leads to gossip in the world or parties. She didn’t want to think of her families past or what tomorrow would bring. Tatiana preferred to live in the today not in the future. People who did that annoyed her. She didn’t want to think what she had to do or how she had to do it. No, all Tatiana thought was having fun or at least for tonight. Tomorrow she could be calm and think about things. Yes, Tatiana could be her normal self tomorrow, but not to night.

Oh, these thoughts did not matter! A flick of the red head’s wrist and they were gone. She needn’t think for these next few hours. The next few hours mean dancing, plays, and tons upon tons of gossip. A tweak of her wings, Tatiana heard the loud yell of her father’s voice.
Lord Nyler was yelling, again. Oh, he was known for his temper. But this yelling was not out of anger. It was not because one of the servants broke a vase worth half of the mansion, no. It was not because he found out that Lady Nyler was currently “having tea” with Duke Smitch in Duke Smitch’s upstairs quarters. No, this was pure alcoholic yelling. In fact, Tatiana was sure, that her father was just talking to his friends. They were probably all drinking before the festivities were starting for the hell of it. There weren’t many reasons not to drink. Well, it didn’t matter to Tatiana. If her mother allowed her she would probably be drinking more then wine. She wasn’t supposed to act like man, being drunk all the time. That didn’t matter! Tatiana had her own way to get drunk.

Tatiana tugged at her silky dress, hearing the guests arrive. As soon as the few started bursting in they were showed to the back of the house were there would be dancing. In the back yard there would be many other things to do, mostly for the kids. For Tatiana she would be dancing or checking out her friend’s clothes. It all mattered here. Clothes, money, and looks? If you had those you were set. Not including of having a somewhat good reputation of a family. That knocked Tatiana right out, but it didn’t matter. Nothing much mattered on All Hollows Eve.

Tatiana sighed. She could here the ticking of the clock once it hit eight o’clock. Two hours had passed while she was getting ready. The guests down stairs were all there. She could here laughs and giggles. Soon Tatiana was walking down the stairs with her long wings following behind her. The girl sighed and quickly walked down the stairs, her friends whisking her away as soon as she stepped on the last step. They were leading her into the groups of people.

                              "My lord."

Kyrie tsk'ed in slight annoyance at hearing that and looked behind him, spotting Xavier, his right hand, with a disapproving look on his face. Iri grinned and shrugged, already having an idea on why Xavier suddenly found him in such a place. In all honesty, he shouldnt be there, in fact, Kyrie's mother, Deidre found it amusing to associate with mortals lately, why though, Kyrie will never be able to understand. Mortals are rarely amusing anyway. Most of the times, theyre incredibly predictable, plain, and boring. Not fun at all. But the Unseelie queen's word was absolute over her subjects, and her son, Kyrie is no exception. It was really mind boggling-- well, it's just one party. Perhaps he can give his mother this one night in many years, besides, this family Deidre found amusing is quite.. interesting in terms of history. Very colorful.

"Kyrie, Im afraid you no longer have the time to loiter around here. Have you found a partner?"

"Well, hell no Xavier. You know damn well I wont go if I can help it."

"And Im here to keep that from happening."

Xavier had a smile on his face but Kyrie knew that he could be dangerous behind the smile. He was a Hound for god's sake. Actually, Kyrie had hoped that Xavier would have a hard time finding him in this crowd, but he shouldnt have expected less from Xavier.. such a dog. Kyrie sighed and placed the remaining of his smoke against his lips and sighed. A partner? Why is it required? Stupid humans and their traditions. They needed to loosen up really. Iri's ice-blue eyes went back to the flaming siren in the crowd, and as if feeling his eyes on her, Anya's eyes met his with a smile. Really, normal humans are more amusing to be with in comparison to those stuck-ups.

                              "Xavier, I got my partner."

Xavier frowned, causing Kyrie to chuckle. He knew Xavier had an unpleasant experience with Anya, the renowned temptress of the Unseelie court, the Siren of sirens. Almost everyone had fallen prey to her, except him that is. Kyrie tossed the remains of his smoke down the grass, stepped on it, and headed forward Anya whose eyes by then lit up. Amusing little siren, excited without knowing why. Anya headed towards him automatically without him calling out to her, and in her excitement, she allowed her glamour to slip, showing Kyrie a glimpse of the faint greenish-tint of her skin, her kitten-sharp teeth and her pointed ears-- however, by the time she reached him, she already recovered most of her glamour back as he wrapped herself around one of Kyrie's arms.

"Iri, Iri~ Have you changed your mind?"

"Ah my sweet, would you indulge me and accompany me to a different kind of party?"

"Mm.. Im having fun here though, what would I get in return?"

A soft chuckle escaped Kyrie's lips before he leaned in and brushed his lips against the tips of Anya's ears, whispering sweet promises and affectionate nothings, and for the second time that night, Anya fell willingly into his arms.

"Im not dressed for the occasion."

"Oh, but I am. And your beauty is burning brightly tonight Anya, that glamour of yours which you wear so proudly, your dress can only absorb your own beauty. Worry not, walk by me tonight and allow me to escort you, my love. No one would notice."

                              "So you say."

"Fae dont lie Anya. You know that as much as I do."

Its dangerous indeed, having Anya too close to him, but he had no choice. Anya had agreed and with a successful smile, Kyrie turned to Xavier and winked. Kyrie could almost hear the annoyed sigh that came from Xavier, obviously displeased by having Anya tag along, but it wasnt like he had any other choice. Kyrie had to go with someone, better Anya than anyone else. Without a word, the three of them headed to the party in question, the Nyler's.

They were just in time when they arrived. Not too early that there's only a few around, yet not too late that everyone had already gathered. Deidre had caught sight of her son as soon as he stepped into the room. She looked like her usual self, ageless and elegantly beautiful. She never needed to wrap herself in glamour unlike other fae, even Kyrie from time to time had to keep his glamour up, else every female who'd be unfortunate enough to make contact with his skin will fall on their knees before him-- figuratively of course.

                              "Im glad you came, Iri!"

                              "Mother. Allow me to introduce--"

"Anya, of course. Youre quite known around. Its no wonder my son chose you."

Such heavy words, Kyrie wanted to cringe under them. Deidre, despite being queen of the Unseelie court, can sometimes be so clueless when it comes to her son. Kyrie would have to make sure to clear things up after the party for he had no intentions on fixing a partner on stone, if anything, he didnt want a partner. He just wanted to enjoy what he's given. Kyrie glanced at Anya who was much too pleased by Deidre's obvious compliment.

Stealthily, Kyrie found a way to excuse himself from his mother and Anya. He knew it wouldnt be good to leave the two together, but he needed space. Literally. Anya had been holding unto him for too long already. As soon as he was free, he moved to the opposite side of the room and watched the room from there. Trying to distract himself with the company of mortals.

It was Halloween. And this party proved faithful to the tradition of putting on a disguise. Most of them were completely cliche in choosing their costumes. Yeah right, very halloween-y. Kyrie found it boring, which is why he didnt know why he bothered to continue to look around. He found a number of females who were dressed like.. huh, since when did "whore" become a choice for a costume? Kyrie chuckled. If he knew any better, those probably were their usual clothing. They tried to flaunt themselves to him, passing by too often in front of him, passing him glances that they thought were probably seductive. Well, maybe they'd find out that the prince of seduction cant be easily swayed. The game of seduction is started by him, always.

However, just as Kyrie was about to excuse himself for a breath of fresh air outside, a shimmer caught the corner of his eyes, and in wonder, he stopped in his tracks and located the source of that which caught his attention. And he wanted to laugh out loud.

The shimmer which caught his attention was a pair of fake wings by a female who played a fairy. Wouldnt it be amusing for her to realize that there are indeed faeries in the crowd? Real ones? The little fairy girl kept Kyrie from walking outside, and with her his eyes stayed. She was surrounded by a group of people her age, her friends probably, but still, in that little crowd of hers, she stood out with that exaggerated wings of hers. Not to mention that Kyrie found her entire being a phantasmagoria of colors. She had an incredible volume of hair that flowed about her, bright as fire, almost rivaling Anya's own glamour. Her wings were another. And her dress of silken blue. She was a mess in his eyes, an overdone impression of a fae, but nevertheless, she was an art. Albeit a messy art.

She stood out in his eyes. Thus she was interesting. And it was very rare for the Gancanagh prince to find a mere mortal female interesting.

Why did everything become hazy? Maybe it was because of the smoke from the men, or perhaps horrible smell of alcohol? Tatiana didn’t know, didn’t care. She was trying her best to concentrate on her friends. They were laughing so loud it made her head ache. Yet, Tatiana felt the great rush of laughter pull from her stomach. All Hollows Eve meant great fun, but the wings she was wearing were pulling her down and hitting the faces of other guests. Oh, that made even more laughter spill out of her mouth. How stupid did those girls look! There were others, not in her group, who sat their pale faced. Weren’t they having fun? It seemed they were so depressed. Tatiana shrugged, feeling the tug of her friends. They were moving faster, faster now to the back of the large house. Bits of gossip played with her ears, but only bits registered in her fast moving mind.

                            “Lady Nyler came with Smitch!”

“—beautiful as sunlight. I swear! She looked like a goddess.”

“Did you see the foreign pretties?”

“This place is out of sorts. Where the hell are the constables?”

Constables? Ha-ha. Did they not know the constables would be busy with other parties? Were they so ever naive? Tatiana giggled with her hand over her mouth, trying to be quiet with her quick moving thoughts. Who was this goddess that the large woman talked about? A goddess. Tatiana had not seen any goddesses so far. Yes, she had seen a few beautiful ladies but none to make Tatiana stop and stare. Another tug on her arm made her snap back into reality. Ah, it wasn’t that hazy any more. No. She must’ve been having one of her many moments.

“Will you snap out of it, Tatiana!” whispered one of her friend fiercely. It was Jo Anna, Tatiana’s mother best friend’s daughter, who was shaking her and making her snap back into reality. A sigh escaped Jo Anna’s lips. She looked down at Tatiana as if she was a lower class then herself. “You know if you breathe so much of this air you will go even crazier.” Jo Anna said in her matter-of-fact manner. As if Jo Anna should talk! Her history, and her family’s, was about as bad as Tatiana’s. Jo Anna was known for getting a little too fresh with men who even gave her a bit of attention, and her mother? Well, apples don’t fall far from the tree.

“Shu’ up Jo Anna. Your a bore, you know that?” snapped Tatiana. She pulled her arm away from the blonde, trying her best to get her composure together. Jo Anna always seemed to rub Tatiana the wrong way at exactly the wrong moments. She flicked one of her red hairs away and tugged at her dress. Now, she needed to look for the goddess. Tatiana’s hand slipped into the arm of one of her girl friends, Lilly. She wanted to see the goddess, she wanted to see the pretties.

“What are you doing, Ana?” Lilly asked as Tatiana pulled her from the opposite way they were going, deeper into the crowds of people.

“Making our rounds, Lil’. Since my mum is being a whore, again, I have to be the hostess.” Tatiana said with a wink. It was true that Lady Nyler was being a whore, once yet again, with Lord Smitch and was nowhere in sight. Since she was the only one in her family who wasn’t immensely intoxicated, or doing naughty things with a neighbor, she had to be the one to greet. Even if it was a crazy night Tatiana had to keep somewhat of an appearance.

Tatiana hadn’t really noticed how many people were there, and how many people who weren’t invited. There were the Smiths, who spoke badly of the Nyler family, and many other lower class peoples. It was fine to have their own servants to party, Tatiana knew most of them well and they were fine people, but there were others. So many others that she hadn’t known about. There was that creepy old man who sold her father’s “special mixture” which Tatiana knew very well what the special s**t was. Oh, there at the corner of her eye was Ms. Miller, one of the cooks, who was forcing the Paxton boys to stop throwing the crystal around. Tatiana didn’t know why the crystal was out, and didn’t much care. A glaring look came from Jo Anna who was behind Tatiana. She wasn’t one for being out of the spotlight, but who didn’t?

“Tatty, dear!” a piercing voice came from the right of Tatiana and grabbed hold of her. It was a very odd to be held on by this older woman. She was squishing Tatiana’s wings and pressing her well worn face into her side. Oh, crazy grandmother. This was Grandmother Nyler who was known for being very insane. Not the kind of insane that everyone jokes about, no, it was the insane that was scary. Grandmother Nyler could change personalities in a flash. She could go to a nice old lady to killer old lady in a matter of seconds. Yet, it seemed, that Grandmother Nyler had taken her pills and was quite fine. Tatiana wasn’t surprised to see a young lady, two years older then her, standing beside Grandmother Nyler. It was the older Nyler’s nurse.

“Grandmama.” Tatiana was frightened, slightly, by her grandmother but hugged her gratefully.

“Ohhhh. Look at that!” within sight of a shiny object her grandmother gone. Tatiana supposed that shiny objects just might be more entertaining than her, but it didn’t bother her too badly.

“Tatiana, who are they?” Lilly asked, pointing to the area of, what she guessed, were the “pretties.”

There was a red head who was talking to this other quite elegantly lady. They were so beautiful, so beautiful it almost hurt. Tatiana cocked her head to the side as she watched the two women, almost, glitter in the horrible lighting. Who were they? Then there was a boy. Was he with them? Was he with the other two women? He was almost as beautiful as the two women. Yet, the young man had a smug look about him. Who were they?

Kyrie's eyes tore away from the red-haired "fairy" when she disappeared from his line of sight, hidden behind the numerous crowd. He didnt feel like exerting the effort to follow the girl specifically, besides, Xavier was approaching him again. Kyrie beckoned a serving boy over and took a glass of wine which he used as an excuse to not speak when Xavier reached him by taking a sip.

"The queen is looking for you."

A shrug, and Kyrie downed the rest of his wine before placing the empty glass on the nearby table before following Xavier. He saw then as they approached that Deidre was conversing with a human male, who looked at her as if the ground she was stepping on and those she walked on should be worshipped. Kyrie frowned for a moment as the man reached for his Deidre's hand and kissed the back of it as a sign of respect, eitherway, he felt a slight hint of protectiveness for his mother who just smiled casually.

Lord, what fools these mortals be!

However, Kyrie made sure such annoyance didnt appear on his face, and Anya somehow helped him in that feat. Xavier purposely stepped to the side as they approached the spot where Deidre and Anya was-- who by then already saw Iri and went over to cling on his arm again. The young male just smiled politely and leaned in to kiss the siren's cheek.

"Im sorry love, I wanted to look around."

Anya pouted but before she could even talk or complain, Xavier announced their arrival to Deidre who automatically donned on the cheerful attitude she always has around her son, Kyrie. Sweeping a hand about her, she gestured towards the man who she was talking to earlier and introduced him as the lord of the house, the one who organized the party, Lord Nyler. By then, Kyrie's smile turned into a malicious sneer for a moment's notice upon realizing who he was. This dirt Nyler dared to touch his mother, the Unseelie court's queen's hand?

"Kyrie, I was told that Lord Nyler has a daughter he wanted you to meet. Surely you'll give him a chance to introduce her to you?"

Oh hell no, he didnt want to. In fact, he didnt want any acquaintances from the family, more so the girl. It's only natural to expect the worst of the daughter of such a family-- also, in the occasions that these actually happen, meaning fathers wanting him to meet their daughters, there's only one thing in their mind, trying to get him to like their daughter. It was known that Deidre was a wealthy woman-- but what they do not know that the wealth they have in mind is much much more different than the idea of fae about wealth. But since it was his mother who asked the favor, he Kyrie had no choice but to give in. He turned his eyes to his mother and smiled warmly.

"If that is what you wish, mother."

It wasnt technically a lie. Sure he didnt want to, but following his mother's requests was another thing. Kyrie then watched Lord Nyler excuse himself to find his daughter. It was then she felt a fierce tug on his arm on which Anya clung on. Turning with an eyebrow raised, she glanced at Anya in silent question and almost laughed at the message she was sending him through her vibrant eyes. She obviously didnt want him to meet Nyler's daughter as well. Smiling still, Kyrie leaned in to whisper quietly at Anya's ear.

"No need to be jealous, Anya dear. Such a human will always stay inferior to you."

                              "But Iri--"

                              "Hush."

Anya had no choice but to stay quiet then and simply glare at the floor while Kyrie supressed a sigh. This was the very reason he didnt want Anya to spend so much time with him, not to mention the way she was clinging on him didnt exactly help the problem. Maybe if he could appease her.. but Kyrie's eyes swept the crowd, only to spot Lord Nyler returning with a displeased girl in hand. Kyrie blinked in surprise. The girl, Nyler's daughter, was the very girl who he was watching earlier. His daughter was the girl who wore the fairy wings and looked like a messy art. At this strange information, Kyrie found himself amused, and as if feeling this emotion of his, Anya stiffened at his side, an almost hissing-sound coming from her.

"Lords and Ladies, I want you to meet my daughter, Tatiana Nyler."

There was a vast range of expressions which came from Kyrie's group. Deidre wore a polite smile, nodding towards the girl, Tatiana's, direction in acknowledgement. Xavier was completely apathetic, uncaring of the situation. Anya was well-- Kyrie chuckled under his breath-- annoyed. While he on the other hand-- was too amused at how things were going. The girl was interesting indeed. To have come from such a family with a not-so-nice reputation, it would seem that there is more to her than what meets the eye.

"A pleasure to meet you, Tatiana. You can call me Kyrie."

A mischievous glint entered Kyrie's eyes as he intentionally called the girl with her name, simple as, without any honorifics. He was about to reach out his free hand and offer it to Tatiana when another tug pulled him back-- Anya. So instead of waiting for the girl to reach for his hand, he pulled his hand back and simply bowed as a sign of respect while keeping his eyes on Nyler's daughter.

                  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIF YOU'LL KEEP BELIEVING IT--

                              "Youre too kind, m'lady."

Kyrie straightened up and met Tatiana's eyes for a moment before a slow smirk came upon his lips. How amusing, she didnt even look bothered with his casualness while he was sure if it were other girls her age, they would probably act as if he kissed them on spot, simply put, it just isnt done, its either this girl, Nyler's daughter, was extremely ignorant or simply daring. Kyrie nodded at her before turning at the girl beside him.

Oh Anya was seething. It made Kyrie chuckle under his breath. He glanced once at Deidre, who seemed to be enjoying Tatiana's company more than her father's presence, well, it really wasnt hard to figure out why, Lord Nyler was obviously not sober enough to have a decent conversation with despite his attempt to look like so, plus, he reeks, really. Sometimes, Kyrie just couldnt help but admire his mother's tolerance for humans.

A new pressure on his arm brought Kyrie's attention to Anya who clung tightly on his arm. Kyrie shook his head and patted Anya's hand which she was gripping his arm tightly with, no doubt if not for public impression, the siren wouldve dragged Kyrie away from Tatiana's presence. She'd probably scream like a banshee too. Murderously beautiful in her rage. As it is, Anya aura was turning very hostile, not that any humans would notice it-- it's a fae thing actually. Kyrie licked his lips. He could taste Anya's anger on his lips, literally. It was one of the few abilities a gancanagh like him has. To feed on other's emotions, to literally taste them, for example, Anya's anger currently tasted like desert heat-- scorching. Iri leaned in and whispered quietly in Anya's ear.

"Calm down, my siren. Dont want to make a scene do we?"

Anya turned her gaze to Kyrie's face and the anger she initially felt for Tatiana alone was suddenly directed to Kyrie's and the effect of her anger slammed face-first into him, making Kyrie laugh in pure amusement. Deidre then looked at Kyrie with a questioning look, and it was obvious that she wasnt pleased that her conversation with Nyler's daughter was interrupted. Toning his laughter down into a mere chuckle, Kyrie bowed slightly at Deidre's direction to excuse him and Anya.

"We'll be right back mother, we just need to deal with something."

He knew Anya wanted to protest, but with Kyrie's strength on his hold on her, he could drag her screaming and kicking if he wanted to with little effort, and so Anya followed begrudgingly after him. And so he led her outside to the empty garden at the back, detaching himself once he was sure that no one would see them accidentally.

                              "Iri--"

"Let me talk first Anastaisha. I brought you here not because I want you specifically. Let's get things straight because I dont want you acting as if you own me! No one will ever have the power to tie me down, not you, not Deidre, not Nyler's daughter, not anyone! Do you understand that?"

Anya cringed visibly at the power Kyrie imposed on her upon using her real name, and it was obvious she wanted to crumple, to kneel in front of him, to beg, to grovel. Kyrie could taste her fear-- soft and bittersweet, in comparison to her rage earlier, she suddenly softened. Instead of kneeling in front of him however, the siren clung on him again, her fingers digging into the coat that Kyrie wore. Automatically, Kyrie grabbed her wrists to push her away but Anya only clung tighter.

"Iri, Iri-- I know, please dont get mad. I just couldnt help but get jealous. Please forgive me?"

Kyrie sighed as she felt Anya tremble against him and closed his eyes, bringing a hand up to his face to rub his temple as he usually does when he's trying to calm himself down. Alright, maybe he got out of hand to force his power on her by using her name, but still. He opened his eyes and glanced down on Anya who pressed her face against his chest. Taking her by her shoulders, he gently pushed her away from him and raised her face with a finger before placing a light kiss on her lips.

"Alright, I forgive you-- this time, Anya, I dont want to hurt you. Dont get attached."

Kyrie detached himself from the siren once more and headed back to where his mother was, probably still talking to Nyler and his daughter. With a glance over his shoulder he gestured for Anya to follow, who did so willingly, but this time, she didnt hang on his arm and simply walked either behind him or beside him. Shrugging at this, he simply dove his hands into his pockets.

Upon arriving back at where her mother was, a smile was present on his face again as he raised a hand in a wave. Deidre turned and raised a brow at seeing Anya no longer holding on to her son, eitherway, she didnt seem bothered. Stopping beside her mother, Kyrie turned to face Tatiana again.

"Kyrie, would you mind accompanying Miss Nyler for a while? Im afraid I need to rest. Anya, please come with me?"

Kyrie shook his head slightly at the obvious surge of power from his mother as she turned to Anya who almost paled upon having the Unseelie queen's attention on her, but nevertheless, she nodded and followed Deidre and Xavier as they went to god-knows which corner of the room. Anya would probably be in some trouble. It just so happened that Deidre was just as protective over her son as much as Kyrie was protective over her, and with his outburst earlier, it wouldnt be hard to guess that Deidre felt it, and directly, the blame would be placed upon the siren. s**t-- he would need to fix things later.

Pushing it off his mind, he turned to Tatiana and gave her a smile before reaching out a hand to her.

"I know this line has been used several times already and it probably wont have an effect on you whatsoever anymore but, my mother did ask me to keep you company, so would you indulge me with one dance?"

Theeldest of the two women of the pretties seemed to take the lead of the group. No, the word “eldest” didn’t seem quite to fit the woman. She was older, but not old enough to be noticeable. She carried herself in a way that most wished to carry. A self knowing, it seemed. Like she knew she was being looked upon, but it did not matter to her. Yet, kindness seemed to seep from her. Tatiana felt complete around the woman, relaxed. Not too relaxed to get kept off guard but the woman was so very easy to be with. To tell the truth? Tatiana was slightly frightened by this large amount of emotions that coursed at her, in her. Miss Nyler, for a moment, seemed to only see the leader. Hearing? That was a sense that seemed lost now. Only seeing the woman. It took her a moment to realize that the young man had said something after her reply. In one ear out the other!

The old chap was not holding out too well. Was he overwhelmed? Tatiana couldn’t tell, didn’t try to. She simply held him up and tried not to breath near him. She felt bad for him. Drinking like crazy and not able to see how much of a drunkard he has become. What a shame. Glancing at the Leader, she watched as she actually tried to talk to her father. Was she daft? Or more understanding? Most people wouldn’t even try to or just join in. Tatiana simply shrugged, and kept her mouth shut like a proper daughter. Try as her best, she inhaled his breath. Rum, whiskey, and a bit of wine? How delightful. In the snap of Lord Nyler’s stumble was straightened as Tatiana finally regains control of his stagger. Eh, what annoying man.

Oh ho ho! What was happening with the read head? Tatiana could feel something quite unpleasant with the beauty. Her head cocked to the side, like an animal trying to figure out what was wrong with something. She said nothing; not wanting to draw attention of the angered on. The redhead’s lover was trying to calm her down, but it didn’t seem to work. With all the music and the loud voices around her Tatiana could hear nothing but a few catches of words. “Down” and “scene” was clearly heard, along with “siren” but that was probably just misunderstanding. Then the male turned and Tatiana looked away to her father, once again. It would be rude to be caught eavesdropping.

"We'll be right back mother; we just need to deal with something."
Mr. Pretty did not seem very happy with Miss Pretty. Not at all! Tatiana couldn’t help but want to giggle at how simple it was. They were like everyone else! They weren’t gods or immortal folks. No, they were simply beautiful human beings. Her conclusion seemed to fit for the moment. The little fight between lovers seemed to make much sense to her. Tatiana always saw it around these times, they were all so amusing. The Leader seems to have a slight expression her face before it flickered away. Tatiana questioned the emotion, but only kept her father steady.

“I’m sure they will be back soon. You know how people are.” The woman said, patting Lord Nyler’s shoulder in, it seemed pity. Yes, Tatiana had also seen the expression around her father toward either her father or herself. Not many pitied her mother. Tatiana didn’t pity whores.

“Yeshhhh, I doooooo ma’ammm.” Lord Nyler said with a slap on his thigh, as if he had said something humorous. Tatiana rolled her eyes at this and pinched him lightly on his arm.

“Whatthehelldidyoudothatfor?” The drunkard asked, talking quite quickly and with a annoyed expression on his face.

“I wanted you to close your mouth before you embarrass us—well, even more so.” Tatiana mumbled at him before looking at the eldest pretty.

Tatiana was happy that the couple had returned with the redhead look distant and Kyrie just seemed to have a smirk smacked on his face. Was that a natural thing he did? This she ignored, like the many thoughts she had, and listened to hear that the Pretty Leader, that was now her title to Tatiana, was tired. She had asked Kyrie to accompany Tatiana. An eyebrow rose before she could hide her expression: surprise. It wasn’t particularly a bad thing but she was hoping to go gossip with friends. There was another part that was whispering to her to go ahead and have fun, gossip later. Eh, whatever. As she thought about this as something happened between the red head and Pretty Leader, but Tatiana didn’t notice. As you can tell, the girl doesn’t notice most things.

Someone was talking again. Ah, it was Kyrie. He had his hand outstretched asking her to dance. Now surprise was replaced with scoff. Those kinds of guys, the kind Kyrie acted to be, made her eye twitch. Like, she just wanted to smack a few times to show them how shitty they really were. Then that would lead to some kind of law suit against the family. Yet, she was still considering.

Tatiana did not welcome his hand, but simply nodded saying, “I suppose you may.”
