HELP!!

Ok for the first time in my life I can admit I am scared.
I had a second sinus surgery on August 7th and I don't remember anything.
When I got out of surgery I kept asking where I was and what happened.
When I saw my husband, I had asked him about our girls in which he told me we didn't have any girls.
Some how I lost 9 years of my life, I thought it was 2004 and still do.
He tells me it is now 2013 and so does everyone else. I believe it only because when I look at the date on things it says 2013.
Has anyone lost their memory like this or know someone who has?
And if so, did they get their memory back or was it permanent?
Any tips on what can help me get my memory back?

If this is true... You may want to consider talking to a neurologist or similar, I think. Something may have gone wrong in your surgery.

After surgery confusion and memory loss can occur. If you still believe it is 2004 or you cannot remember your memories, I suggest going home with your husband and discuss with him about what happened in the past 9 years to "jump start" your brain. Look at pictures you may have taken and discuss things you enjoyed doing previously, including vacations and even fights you two may have had.

Try to get your memory back, and if none of this works you should go see a neurologist, which is a specialist in the mental nervous system, which also includes the brain.

I have been talking with my husband about the past 9 years.
After about 10 minutes I feel over loading with information.
None of it seems to bring up any memories.
I have not looked at pictures or talked about things such as vacations.
But I will try those things and see if it helps.
