uhh.. I dunno. I'm not good at this kind of question. I don't pay attention to detail. I thought it was only unplottable to like muggles.. cause its that rundown old castle.... Don't question the genius of the Marauders. It just is. ^_^........ I have no logic for you. *shame*

That affects the perimeter of Hogwarts.

Maybe because the Ministryowls have either no clue in which direction to send the mail, or Grimmauld Place itself is "un-owl-able".
And Hedwig might have recieved special instruction from Sirius, maybe.

Well use some common sense. First of all the Marauders map is just of the school and nowhere else. If someone got hold of the map they wouldnt be able to tell where Hogwarts is just see it. It means that you cant see it on maps of the area DUH!

WHY MUS PEOPLE QUESTION J.K. ROWLING? It is her novel and things just are the way they are. The Marauder's Map works because Rowling says so...want to have that changed, you can take that up with Rowling instead of asking people on Gaia....

or it might be that Hedwig is more than she seems. harry mentions that Hedwig has never failed to find someone, even when he didn't have an address for them.

But Hogwarts is plottable. its just that the other two schools, Beuxabatons (If that's how you spell it) and Durmgstrang are unplottable. I don't remember anyone saying Hogwarts is unplottable. twisted
