I haven't played P1 or P2, are they any good?

i can speak for p2:is's excellence. the random encounter rates are a bit obnoxious, but it's got a better story than the modern games and you don't have to waste half your life on social links

Yes! A bit of a diffrent gaming style, but theyre very fun.
