Bugs aren't spawning?

In Towns 1, no bugs are appearing at all however papers and flowers are fine.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Having the same issue. Usually after catching a large amount, they become rare to see, but there is absolutely none all day.

I thought that was it, but this was like 2 irl days until I just left towns open for several hours and came back to an amount comparable to the plague.
