Is there a guide somewhere to this Alchemy thing? I'm new to this and not sure what I should be doing... Anyone got any tips?

You can get items from DC apparently. I never have though. I've spent so much gold getting the components I needed and am not convinced its worth it yet...

I craft level three and two formulas free! ♥
philosopher's cache, golden gifboxes, enki's catch, and daily chance are component options. some can also be found in towns *paper, bugs* games *fishing/fish/bait/etc* zOMG *feathers/carbon/almost everything* friends for trading are wonderful ^.^ and some components can even be crafted ^.^ if you need extra help post in my alchemy service topic and I'll get back to you ^^

People are reluctant to help because there's usually one or two new threads a day asking the same thing. Whether it be I'm new, how do I level up from X to Y, where do I find so and so. It's very repetitive.

On the first one or two pages, there are many guides and lists that will answer the majority of your questions. They give formula details, component uses, where components come from, etc., etc.

Several posts down from yours, for example is A starter guide.

So research on and good luck.
