I read some things from the post "Why do you hate America?"

I am an American. I personally do not like America, and I don't blame others for being resentful.

However, I also see lots of people making generalizations about Americans.

I, personally, am not overweight, self-centered, uneducated, racist, or a money-waster.

I am a healthy weight, I care deeply about other countries' problems, I have good grades and I am educated, I love other countries and cultures, and I'm conservative with money. I recycle and care for the earth, I do not support the killing in Iraq, and I do not agree with what bush did.

Please, understand that not everyone in America is the way that our people are portrayed. wink
