So I learned that the phrase for cell phone is "teléfono celular" or something like that.
But that's a mouthful,
so I mixed teléfono & celular
to make celéfono & I've been calling it that for some time.
But then I noticed that it's on the internet already
(& I'm not surprised other people thought of it),
but I'm not sure if it's actually spoken.
Urban Dictionary says it's Spanish slang,
but do native Spanish speakers actually say celéfono?
Or would it be more of the English speakers who learned Spanish?
Or what?
