The dust is like a cataclysmic(sp?) event, it'll settle over a long period of time. Kinda like what would happen if a asteroid or giant meteor hit Earth. sweatdrop

There's a difference between that meteor theory and this building falling. Asteroids come from space with a LOT of propulsion to them already, and when you factor in gravity, it makes sense that it'd take a while. Here, it's a tower. Imagine the time it took for 9/11, and extend it a little bit (since the tower is so big). Heck, the dust isn't even settled all throughout the area like 9/11 had it, just in one long, straight line.
