I doubt they're dead, I really do.
1. The event took place on April 1st. We know damn well that the Admins celebrate April Fools Day. Period.
2. I don't think that the Admins would kill off NPCs. Period.
3. Gino, Gambino, and two Labtechs (and all of Gaia) survived a nuclear bomb... If a nuclear bomb can't kill these people, nothing so trivial as falling a few miles out the sky can kill them either.

The end result will prolly be intresting, if not slightly humorous, and they will all live. </mytwocents>
