I havent been on gaia for quite a while, so when I opened my account I was shocked to find out that my avatar is worth billions.

Is it normal to own billions of gold now?

If so, could you tell me the cause of this phenomenon?

Are people purposely inflating prices?

I feel sorry for those poor sods just starting gaia.
They have to work crazy hard
Im not used to having to type so many zeros on the marketplace.

i just came back like last week, same feeling and i'm sure people are tired of explaining it to the re-active on here.
i guess some event went down that allowed people to buy a lot of gold so now everything is like in the billions? my understanding of it by what was explained to me

Corporate decided that selling Gold Generators (GG) in the Cash Shop as CIs was a profitable thing to do. Thus, this happened:



All those spikes are basically GGs being released into the market. . . And Gaia hasn't stopped selling them. We get a new GG every few weeks now.
