Anxious Ladykiller

Nadine was not looking forward to seeing Red again. She'd even had to try toning down her outfit - or pretending to, anyway. That was the fun thing about turtleneck sweaterdresses: they seemed like they ought to be more modest, but they magnified what little figure she had to look far more feminine. Slightly less boney, anyway. She'd also restrained her wild black curls into a ponytail, which in conjunction with her glasses, made for a halfway decent Sexy Librarian effect. Or so Nadine thought, and she was the expert on sexy libraries.

She came down the steps slowly, green eyes scanning on high alert for any redheaded buzzkills. That was not what they found.

Pretty! Prettyprettypretty.

Nadine did not bother to sashay - even in this dress, she didn't have the hips for it - but her stride did become more purposefully casual. Languid, almost.

"Helllloooo," she sang as she slid behind the bar, previous complaints about having to play the bartender forgotten. "Anything I can do for you?"

Red couldn't possibly complain about this. It was just good customer service. Obviously.

EDIT: Of course, then her eyes finally dragged themselves away from the pretty to realize Lela had returned. "Lela! Darling. Did you have fun without me?" She gave the other woman her best knowing smile, though really, she'd rather keep staring at the new guy. Subtlety was hard work, and she didn't much care for it.

Invisible Genius

Damascus watched as he was suddenly found by two woman seeming to come out of the wood works. "Damascus. It is a pleasure to meet you." He purred, turning to the woman leaning against the bar. Maybe this wouldn't be as hard as he thought it would be. "No. But interesting things tend to follow me about, so who knows what could happen." His brow arched as he sat there, putting on a little bit of his personal charm.

Dressed in a pair of jeans and just a simple black t-shirt, so very happy to not be in costume as of right now. His olive toned skin showed up well against the little black tattooed arrows leading along his limbs. He then turned to the curly haired woman behind the bar and smiled warmly. "Hello there. I wouldn't mind a shot of tequila if you would want to share one with me." He added, a sly look in his eye. Maybe he would be able to get a little more than just blood tonight.

Look into my eyes...

s**t! Lela screamed in her head, vampires terrified her ever since her run in with the dreaded Vincent. This one took a different approach though, he was trying to seduce and damn it worked a little, why she was so weak for sex and that voice of his was smooth. Lela’s cheeks flushed a bit from the embarrassment of falling for his tricks, this would appear to be a blush from flirtation, but it was mostly irritation with herself. Lela looked to Nadine, she had been so focused on keeping an eye on the blood sucker that she had taken little notice of her until she spoke. F**K! Now she had this to ******** worry about, “umm… yea, wait what?” confused as to what she was referring too, oh, the red eyed woman. “oh, HA, not nearly as much as I would of hoped, hun.” turning back to the man, "oh and I am Lela." not much of a pleasure to meet you i have to say... but Lela kept that to herself.

Feel the darkness pull you in...
Her eyes rose, the first vision of blurs came visually discomforting, she cringed and felt her body peel away from the edge of the window ledge. Her a** and all seemed to have fallen asleep, being curled up against the thing over night. She glanced mildly on over to the bed, only to see it empty. The woman must have awoken much earlier than her and left. Well, it was just a trading of business. She didn't grimace, only hoped that the woman wouldn't go around and complaining about it. A reapers kiss was quite enticing but can have mishappens such as sleeping in. Shrugging the thought off the black haired femme stood and stretch. She planted her heel boots to the boarded ground and yawned, releasing all tension she made her way to the bathroom only to see the light still on. Lela must have left it on after she left. She washed herself and made sure her hair came combing out clean, the draft came in late at night , dusting at her and tangling it into little knots.

Finished, Wing eventually left the hotel. Out of the window really, the best exit for a winged being like herself. She landed with a tap and coiled her appendages back into her backside. Walking down the road her direction came meekly towards the s**t hole bar. Little did Wing know a surprise came for her. It was only until a few steps from the door she paused. Her eyes clicked to widen only mild noticed did she felt him. Damascus. Her brows tensed and she sighed , wanting to roll the back of her eyes into her head. "If hes here." She thought. "Would Santos be too?" Santos was Damascus's brother, unlike Damascus, Santos had a form of grace and did many merchant trades with Wing in terms of silks and the likes, but that was ages ago when Wing worried about her image. Now she was just a hottie in casual wear, boy did time pass.

Coming in Wing spotted Lela and Nadine, Wing gave a gesturing wave and a low yawn as to show she just recently woke up. "Morning." She spoke gloomly. Looking over to Lela Wing grinned. "I hope you had a good night sleep?" But the familiar male could only spark her attention further. She walked on over and laid her hands to her hips, she stood behind the male and with a swift motion swung her slender hands onto the mans shoulders, firmly gripping it as to give a small irritated message by feeling. Leaning in she spoke.

"Damascus, how unexpecting to see you here." She said murmuring. "How is Santos?" She didn't seemed please. She then laid eyes to Lela, whom now seemed half enchanted by the males charm. Wing pressed her nails into his shoulders, enough to produce a pinch. "I also see your also on the prowl. Hungry? So early?"

Anxious Ladykiller

Nadine pulled out the bottle of tequila without even looking - she knew where it was thanks to Lela, after all. "I would be happy to have a shot with you, Damascus," she repeated with relish as she poured the shots. That is far too many syllables, she thought but did not say. She restrained her nickname-related impulses: he seemed like the sort that might take offense. She wasn't going to take any risks, not with her luck going the way it had.

Lela was too damn cute when she blushed like that. "That's unfortunate. Maybe next time I'll have to supervise." She grinned with a wicked little wink. "Will you be joining us?" she asked suggestively with a tilt of one heavy black brow, shaking an empty shot glass in the silver-haired woman's direction. Her other hand slid Damascus his shot; Red would probably be less than pleased that it didn't occur to her to ask for payment. There was no time for such frivolities as money! There was flirting to be done!

Wing was back! Nadine wasn't sure that she liked that name. "Tiny!" she greeted instead, not at all bothered that the other woman was taller and more fit than she. "Is this a friend of yours?" I knew she was keeping all the hot friends to herself! I KNEW IT.

Look into my eyes...

When the woman from the night before walked in she was pleased that she knew the man, but was that necessarily a good thing? Yeah, she had fed off Lela safely but Lela’s experiences with blood suckers did not end well, to Lela, she couldn’t trust a vampire. “Yes, it was a very refreshing sleep, thank you. The sleep along with… other things. Consider us even?” Lela smiled at the woman, and her eyes began to turn the bright emerald they usually shown. “What was your name again? I can’t seem to remember if I caught it last night.”

To Nadine’s comment Lela snickered, “why just supervise, no one likes a lurker… might as well join in” she stuck out her tongue between her teeth in a teasing manner. Then smiled broadly, “ah, why the hell not!” taking the glass from Nadine’s hand and setting on the bar counter waiting for the delicious nectar too be served. She could relax a bit, The red eyed woman could handle the vamp.

Damascus could almost feel the uncomfortable aura flooding off of Lela. It was like she knew just what he was. But that wasn't possible, at least that was what the vampire thought. "What a wonderful name Lela is." He said, that slightly seductive tone flooding from his voice. "But please, join us in a shot or two. On my bill, so worry not." He cooed, a grin still on his lips. Oh what a night this would be! With luck, he would make a bed with not one, but two women. That got him thinking about bloody cocktails and he almost got giddy.

He knew someone was behind him, his sensing skills had grown dull since the time he had joined the circus. Feeling those nails dig into his flesh though, he didn't have to wonder any more. He knew that grip. "Wing. How wonderful to see you again. Santos is fine. He is the top girl at home you know. He calls up to see if I find you from time to time. I'll have to call him in the morning to tell him that I have been graced with your presence." His head tipped back, the back of his skull resting firmly on her chest. "You know me. I'm always hungry." There was a smirk on his lips now, just teasing her.

"And what might your name be, my wonderful bar mistress." He said, pulling his head away from Wing, that flirtatious tone tickling his vocal chords. He took the little shot glass, sliding the tip of his finger around the glass gently. "And what are you two talking about? Supervision? Maybe I will need to be the one supervising the lot of you." He teased, the grin on his lips growing.

[Yup! He is a vamp. Sorry my slowness. I had a gerbil cage to clean. >-<;;]
Wing's eyes pierced down at him as his head nestle to her plump chest. She only hoped he didn't cause any trouble but either way she knew he wouldn't kill anyone but blood spilling wasn't going to be fun to look at if he went barbaric. She ignored his comment on being hungry seeing as his behaviour explained it well enough. "Make sure to give Santos my 'blessing'. He must be working hard." She gave him a stare, a look of a message saying 'don't screw this place up'. "Of course you are." She replied. The reaper soon enough released her grip and turned over to Lela whom had finally set herself more at ease. She grinned and finally had lain her arms away from Damascus. "So I see, thats good. If you need a little help sleeping I am always glad to help." She said, this was when Wing began to sway her hips aside and make way to a stool beside Damascus, she felt as though it was best to stay near the vampire, his habits never died and if they did they always rose, just like this hunger. Turning fully to Lela, those red orbs settled relaxingly before the silver haired femme. The two females felt both rejuvenated from.. last night.

"I am Wing. And you are?"

Of course she probably heard her name from Damascus greeting her. Turning to Nadine Wing tapped a finger along her lip thinking what she would have. "I'd like some water today Nadine." She said before veering her eyes over to the vampire and back at Nadine. "Friend.. well in a way yes." Wing had some history with her male friend but she wasn't sure how to put it. She had some problems and some unspoken thoughts about the male but Damascus probably thought different.

BOOAUGHM!

A cloud of thick purple tinted smoke tumbled out of the broom closet, parted by two figures who came talking into the bar.

Malady reappeared, dressed in a tight, short black dress, a massive black stole draped over her shoulders. She had a wide grin on her face and look in her eye that could only mean she was up to some kind of mischief. She was followed by a man who towered over her by at least 4 heads even in the massive heels she wore. He looked like a paler version of an ideal disney prince, dressed in a suit that could only be in style for the vampire lestat with long silver hair that was pulled back behind his ears with an ornate bow.
"I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack!" Malady sang, wiggling her fingers and spreading her arms out like she was in some kind of musical. Some kind of musical for crazed shamanistic streetwalkers.
"I hope y'all don't mind, I've built a quick get away exit in your broom closet, it links to my lovely little cobwebbed hideaway but this place seems much more... lively. I hope you don't mind my freeloading." The side of her mouth pulled int a half frown, Her establishment had an unhappy turnabout for what felt like a century. It was fortunate at least that, existing in a complicated subspace, she didn't need to pay rent or anything like that.
She slithered up to Nadine, the only one here she knew atleast a little more personally who she atleast exchanged some kind of formal greeting with, and draped her arm over her shoulder,"Hey baby cakes, how've you been holding down the fort?"

"Lela!" she gasped in a faux-scandalized tone, "you don't even remember her name? Tsk tsk! Naughty girl." Nadine poured Lela's shot even as she threw back her own, laughing relexively as it burned down her throat and blossomed in her belly. "At some point," she observed, "we're really going to need to get a radio in here." Not that is was a necessity in any respect - Sammy Hagar played perfectly well inside her head unassisted.

"We could always use more adult supervision around here," she grinned to the man, pulling a cigarette out of her always-present messenger bag. Her eyes flitted from person to person before the corner of her mouth twisted in a wry smile. "We're all friends here," she decided, "so why don't we go with Dean. Short, sweet, makes it sound less like I'm being lectured." She threw a quick wink to Wing, assuming the other woman would recall Red's unfortunate paternal instincts.

"Water?" she asked, surprised. Digging under the counter, she found a green bottle of overpriced bubbly water. "There's this," she suggested, "unless you want something from tap. But that seems like it might risk a little Montezuma's Revenge, if you catch my meaning." Her aquiline nose crinkled impressively as she stuck out the tip of her tongue. She clearly did not think that would be a very good idea. Her face fell back to it's usual faint grin as Wing explained the situation. "Aah," she nodded sagely, "one of those, then." That lucky son of a ********] Nadine's probable misinterpretation did not show in her expression as she puffed on her cigarette, looking more or less interested.

She might have noticed the strange tension, the talk of hunger and prowling, if she did not have a mental filter that kept her from accidentally retaining that sort of information. Her busy brain had no room for the matters of who-knows-whats.

EDIT BECAUSE TINNY IS SLOW AND SUCKS:
"Mal!" Nadine squealed with delight, throwing up both arms and doing some spirit fingers of her own. "Aggressively," she answered as the arm went around her, though her eyes were not on the woman. They were, instead, on what could only have been the greatest RealDoll ever made "Speaking of holding down: what is that, is it anatomically correct, and most importantly can I have one?"

Invisible Genius

"You know how he is, Wing. He loves the rewards of his work. Though he does miss having you around." Damascus said, reaching up and patting her hand before it left his shoulder. The look he gave back was one that told her that he wouldn't be the one to screw things up. "I've got a rumbly in my tumbly that is telling me that I'm hungry. And with so much to take from around here, there is a surplus. I just can't choose." He purred, laughing softly. "A friend was a nice way to put it. Last I saw you, you were shouting that I was too big." The laugh was still in his voice, but the surprising part was that comment was nothing to do with any less than decent acts that might have gone on.

This place really was filling up with all kinds of blood choices. With the four women around him his mind was already scheduling how his night would go. He just had to pick who he would have first on his list. Maybe that would be Wing, just a little taste of the past. "Hello there, Madame." He purred, looking at the still slightly purple smoking woman before him, holding onto Nadine.

"Or maybe I will do as Lela suggests and just join in. I'm sure that would be much more fun than just sitting by and making sure that no one does anything absurd. I always do like to be part of a good time." He purred, giving a surly little wink to the curly haired woman. "Dean. I like it. If you so wish, you may call me Mas." He said, thinking maybe Dean would be the one that would be first on his list. She seemed more than interested in his little teasing ways. He just hoped that it wouldn't be too long with her. He had more girls to play with.

Look into my eyes...

Lela nodded to the man’s comment about her name; she was trying to resist the sultry tones in his voice. She didn’t want to know what would happen if she actually looked him in the eye, Lela had a knack for reading people, and someone trying to seduce as hard as he was could cause her to be weak. Then Lela caught Damascus’s remark about always being hungry… eek! That freaked her out. She picked up the shot, and took it quickly setting down the glass hard and leaving her eyes closed… GET YOURSELF TOGETHER!

Then turning to Wing Lela tried to smile “oh yea, I will keep that in mind. And my name is Lela.” But half way through introducing herself Lela heard Nadine call her a naughty girl, crimson spread all over Lela’s face. Damn, keep it cool girl, she probably noticed how red you got, but don’t give her anymore to work with, she doesn’t need to know your weaknesses. “Ehm…I umm.” Lela’s voice cracked. F**K. “you know? I had such a great slumber… I just damn forgot. Silly me.” A giggle escaped when Malady called Dean baby cakes and put an arm around her.

EDIT:
Did she just hear what she think she heard? No Way..."Or maybe I will do as Lela suggests and just join in." There was no way he was getting near her, with fangs or other pointy things...

Malady looked over at the tall pale and handsome stoic man who had followed her, leaving her sandwiched between him and Justine. She turned bright red, losing all over her attempts to look smooth. "N-no! He's not for that kind of thing!" She raised her hands in defense and backed up into her escort.
She shook off her discomfort, and tried to stand onto her tip toes, probably to make herself appear taller to ward away predators. "T-this is Justinian" She presented stiffly with Vanna White hand motions. "He's my uhm...friend. No! Escort. Err.. Bodygaurd? Manservant. Yeah. That one." She lifted the puppet's heavy arm for Nadine's inspection. "No pulse, No fun," She explained matter of factly before flushing red again and going back to her defensive stance. "Not that! I mean-! That I'd tried that! I wouldn't even be into that-- kinda like! I don't do that! ...sorta thing." She stumbled backward a little bit, clutching the stiff's arm and trying to hid behind his other side. "I'm not even old enough to like boys yet, I swear!"
The obviously adult woman was in a strange tizzy and looked very guilty. She looked for an escape out of the conversation of a way to change the subject.

Wing's arm reached out to grab the drink Nadine had hidden beneath the counter. "That'll do, my lips are parched." Wing forgotten how sometimes human body's need simple needs such as water and consumption of food. Not just energy. Pity, for reapers to exist solidly in this world, they needed a body to anchor their spirit to remain. Wing plopped the cap off and sank her lips about the rim and took a few gulps, the water felt flat and warm from no refrigeration. She set the bottle down and without even turning to Damascus he would feel a hand grip to one of his ear flaps. Her nail dug into the thin flesh. She tensed her brows and seemed a bit ticked from his comment. Only because it was just to display her as one of his play things. "And what a disappointment it was." She muttered, she yanked his ear a bit before releasing it and tumbling her hand into her jacket pocket to bring out a small pouch. It wasn't money this time, the felt of the pouch was more expensive, red fabric. By the embroidery it seemed to belong to Santos. She nestled it on the counter in front of Damascus before taking another sip. Within the content would be one of the pure silver hair pins, something Santos would have worn for his nights.

"If you ever bump into Santos again, tell him Im returning this. I don't need it anymore."

Her excessive accessory days were over, Santos was kind enough to give it to her but Wing really didn't need it, it was just taking up space in her own inventory. She did look nice with her hair up though but god knows when she would play dress up again. Wing felt a bit bitter, she already knew Damascus was now entering her own hunting grounds and it was even more irritating that he would probably pick up the one she already fed on. The b*****d. She shifted and just silently drank, as if it would calm her some how. Another woman would plop into the scene she cracked a look to Damascus's hungry eyes and only rolled them.

Vampires, she would never find herself to being with one let alone staying near one.

Turning to Nadine Wing nodded. "Yes, hes one of those... not very reassuring though."
