Mayor of Murderwood
Matthew 5:17-20
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven..
This goes with the verse in James 2 I've cited about 4 times now. Breaking one part of the law makes you guilty of it all.
Romans 1:17
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed--a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." Placing your faith in Jesus and living by faith in Him brings righteousness, far greater than the Pharisees who did not have faith in Jesus.

Matthew 19:17-19
"Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments." "Which ones?" the man inquired. Jesus replied, " 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.' "

You miss the rest of the text:
20 The young man said to him, “All these I have kept. What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
Jesus is telling the man to follow Him, and to live by faith in Him. The man had idols in the law and his possessions, thinking that he hasn't killed or stolen and didn't act fake or dishonored his mother and father made him a good person. He wasn't willing to give up these things to be a believer, he wanted to keep his idols.

Colossians 3:1-7
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.
Notice the line "For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God." This refers to the Christian who has already placed his or her faith in Christ. Placing faith in Jesus is not an okay, I've gotta stop my sex outside of marriage, my sex with any person or object or animal, my lust for others from pornography, my selfishness, my idolatry, and then Jesus will accept me. It is come as you are. Jesus can take someone who has been a murderer, a rapist, an adulterer, fill in the blank. And as 8:38-39 references, coming as you are and placing your faith means that it can't be taken away from you.
The part that says the wrath of God is coming, the judgment day is coming! And there are people who are not believers in Christ that have done those sins that you underline, and they will be judged and they will go to hell.
When he says you used to walk in these ways, he says you were sinners, and now that you are blameless, you should start your path to be more Christ-like, less of a sinner, more of a lover. This is called sanctification. It is a growth from the day of salvation upwards at varying degrees from varying people towards Christ-like, perfect. You never achieve perfection but you strive.
Romans 6-7 would be a good read for you to have some questions answered if you need more information.
