It is war, I understand that, I completely get that civilian casualties happen. However israel isn't stopping hamas. They are making it worse, when you kill one person who is innocent they are making more Hamas. This could hardly even be considered war, this is slaughter, especially when it was numbered that 77% of the palestinians killed were civilians! They are taking cover in UN schools, they hide in hospitals, they think theyre safe, and they die. Israel isn't even defending itself at this point, they have a giant missile defense system that knocks out 90% of gazan missiles.

They think theyre fighting for justice, lets look at it like this. If Hamas killed as many civilians as Israel we wouldn't say, "oh perhaps they had bad intel, or missed the correct target." We would say theyre terrorists, however the Israeli government that is doing the same thing, it isn't terrorism, because they "didn't mean it"

The 77%?

the United Nations. Although that was like a week ago. I'm sure it's higher now that the civillian death toll for Palestine is a whopping 1300+, or maybe it went down. I'm not sure.

Hamas, the government, is explicit in this.

Hamas is not the government.

Hamas won legislative elections and found that nobody in the government, consisting mostly of Fatah (surprise!) was following their orders.

They decided to start issuing legislative orders and laws like the creation of a new security force answerable to the legislature and not the executive. Understandable the executive and Fatah didn't like that and tried to regain control of Gaza.

The resulting civil war has seen a state of emergency put in place and the Hamas run legislature dissolved.

Hamas runs Gaza the way it has always "run" Gaza, with Guns. Only now they've kicked Fatah out so they also have to run all the pre-existing government operations too.
