As an animation buff, I just love the movies of the Disney Animated Canon (meaning the animated movies made by their own animation studio and not under the Touchstone, as Nightmare Before Christmas was, and weren't made by the Pixar studio). My favorites out of them are definitely both Fantasia movies, Hercules, The Rescuers, Princess and the Frog, and Home on the Range, which everyone seems to have forgotten about and I have literally only seen once. In my opinion it was a pretty good movie during a period of generally bad movies from their animation studio, as was Treasure Planet, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Lilo & Stitch, and Brother Bear. They have been doing better since John Lasseter was put in charge of the animation studio. I personally cannot wait for Big Hero 6. It looks awesome.
As for the live-action stuff, I'm pretty indifferent towards it. I like Pirates of the Caribbean, but then I've always been into pirates. Some of the Disney Channel Original Movies are pretty good as well, and overall their animated stuff has gotten really good. I'm a fan of the Disney Fairies films, and I've also taken a liking to Sofia the First, The 7D, and Wander Over Yonder. Helps that the last one was created by Craig McCracken biggrin .
