Happy Earth day.... I guess

So Earth day's coming up and my schools thinking of all these "fantastic" things to say to other kids to get them helping out the environment. (Although most of them can only come up with "um... PLANT A TREE!" wink So what do you guys think would help the environment? But here's the catch. What's a way to help the environment that isn't time consuming, appearance mangling, or just a plain chore.

Well, if you aren't willing to get your hands dirty, then there really isn't much point. C'mon, get down on the hands and knees in the dirt and plant a tree.

Yeah yeah, I've planted A LOT of trees. I garden for fun, but I'm talking about my friends. No offense to them, but they need to get off their lazy butts and help. But they won't in fear if it being "boring" and "tiring" So I'm trying to figure out something to say that'll actually get them interested.
