skype/messenger is always signed in

my skype/messenger thingy is always signed in

i just dont understand it,

im not always signed in and i dont leave my computer or other stuff on or signed in

but whenever i talk to any of my contacts they tell me that skype says i have been logged on for several months straight

have i been hacked or something?

how do i force logging off from other locations?

Any chance you have Skype on a mobile device, and you're always signed in there, not on your computer?

Do you use any third party apps that have access to Skype? Or any Skype extensions? I know if you was to use third party apps for Skype they have a glitch that always leaves you signed in regardless if you're signed in or not. And I'm also going to assume certain Skype extensions have similar affects.

A simple way to solve this problem would be to change your password. Then only sign into devices you use. Also, be sure you uncheck any options such as "Login at startup" or the like.
