Scanner Issues

I just found out last week when I was trying to scan some pictures for a project that my scanner software is gone! I never deleted it nor had any issues with it until I installed a photo editing program that came with my digital camera. I even try using the scanner through the photo software and it still won't work! Does anyone know why this is happening?

Well, if the software for it is gone, of course it isnt going to work. Kinda like taking the engine out of a car.

Have you tried re-installing the original software?

If you have Photoshop or PSP, you should be able to scan through them with ease. The import menu under the file menu. TWAIN settings. Choose your scanner and you should be good to scan.

I would if I could. I'm on "limited" mode on XP and no one I know has figured out loopholes around that. Not to mention that certain people at home would be pissed at me for the scanner not working, cause somehow eeverything is my fault.
