Need some help with Flash.

So. Let's say I want to insert a bitmap into my Flash document, but the "empty" part of the picture is solid white, and I don't know how to make it transparent.

What to do?

try saving it as a transparent gif so the white background doesn't show.

You could also save it as a .png for better transparency features.
