That's probably because of one of two things. You use an internet accelerator that compresses images and makes them look like crap, or you have a high speed connection. A person with a 56K connection will have a fun time sitting through and waiting for that page to load.


To the original poster, I've downloaded your page and I'll see what I can do for you.

EDIT: Just converting the image from PNG to GIF has changed the load time for a person with a 28.8K connection to just about 60 seconds. I have yet to splice it up some, but since the image is still so large, it'd probably only bring about a 10 second increase.

I mianly suck at HTml, but I screen..shot the layout, set it up in paint, and now I'm cutting it up. I'm leaving the background alone, and the its going to be the same princeple I had ealier, except the image is going to have the backgruund lines...

i'm hoping it works out. ^^;; I suck at explaining things.

But it wont be transparent ^^;;


mianly I want it fast to load since it will have a lot of content with all my photots and suchlike o.o;

I don't have an accelerator, and I have a 56K modem with only a 28.8 connection, and it only took 30 seconds to load :/.

I don't have an accelerator, and I have a 56K modem with only a 28.8 connection, and it only took 30 seconds to load :/.

My computer is slow as hell and i have a 56k, it took no less then a minute for it to load
