HELP! My Drive is stuck

I put in a CD into F: drive and now it wont open. Help?

There should be a little hole on the front of your CD/DVD drive. Get a paperclip and bend it so you can push it into the hole. It'll pop open the drive. I'd do this when the computer's off.

Of course, you could do it while it's on, and have the disc fly out of the drive and go into your neck.

If it locked the drive I have a little trick.

Reboot the computer. As the computer is POSTing and booting, just keep punching the eject button.

This happens with my CD-RW drive if things happen in a certain order, and that always fixes it.

You could always try my solution if you can't find any paperclips. It requires nothing but your finger.
