No. If you are allowed to minimize a game, it'll give you an option inside to do so. I personally find WinKey the key of death.

Maybe you could EXIT the game before going back into Windows...

I sometimes ALT+TAB out of the game, sometimes, just to check on my processes.

well the problem is, i like to leave AIM when i game, so if i get an IM i can just win key or alt tab, respond and play again

Maybe the game has a windowed option?

Use that, if it does.

If not, I can honestly say, you might be able to survive without AIM

its not just one game, same thing happens on half life 2, tribes vengeance, far cry, doom 3 and halo not only did it just give me the BSOD when i did that, but most of the time it wouldnt recognize components, such as the sound card or any input devices, like my mouse


but good news, it turns out its a problem with a mobo, so i called the company i got my comp from(alien, ya ya i know n00bish but they had free shipping and 500$ mail in rebates on all comps) and they said it would take a few weeks for reapair so im like, ******** that, i argued with em for a while, and got my money back, im probably just gunna build my own now, like i shouldve from the start

yea, im buildin a new 1, heres specs if ya care to see, it costs abot $1250 USD


-nVidia 6800GT
-160GB SATA HDD
-AMD Athlon 64 3500+
-ASUS A8N motherboard(SLI compatible)
-1 gig or DDR400 RAM
- and it comes with doom3 far cry and HL2 lol i already have em all >_<
