This comic was a request from a long time friend

On the one hand, I'll always agree that you have to write for yourself first and foremost, because if you don't like it, you'll never be able to express your passion in it so that others can enjoy it.

On the other hand... it seems odd to only write for two people, and then post it someplace for everyone to see. And then when someone doesn't get it, you just counter with, "Well, it's not for you."

That just seems odd to me. I mean, I do things I like, but I try and at least make it applicable enough for others to enjoy it. Then again, I'm not a big fan of fanfiction. Even though I keep meaning to write a Doctor Who fic where he meets Nikola Tesla.

If you're not looking to entertain other people or for serious feedback, why are you posting this here? There's nothing wrong with just showing it to the people it's meant for and that's it.

Show me exactly where it says this forum is only for "serious" people and ratings.

I think you misunderstood my post. I'm asking why one would post the comic anywhere at all, if it's only meant to be seen by two people. If I misunderstood her when she said that it's only meant for a couple of people to get and she intends this to be seen by a wider audience, then my apologies. I have no problem with this being posted here or anywhere if that's the intention, it just doesn't come off as that.

Edit: Also, where did you get the idea that I don't like it? I posted in this thread earlier expressing the fact that I enjoyed the comics.
