He is my favourite composer!! Sooo good! Absolutely crazy though, his stuff is so out there. If you like him, try checking out Sex Mob. I feel like they're both sort of on the same page but Sex Mob being a little.... dirtier?

This is by far my favorite piece by Mingus.

Definitely one of the most important composers/performers in the 20th century. Can't help but admire his integrity alongside his amazing talent. I wish so much I'd be able to hear his Epitaph performed live one day.
