Hey, I've been interested in taking up the cello for a few years now, but I have decided to truly start the search for a good beginner's cello.

Do you have any suggestions?

I don't have any direct suggestions, but I think in general the best way to go would be to ask your teacher. They usually have models that they recommend and may even be able to get you a good deal. I think it's reasonable to wait until after you've consulted with a teacher before purchasing an instrument; it's a good idea to ask, though.
