A tall, dark stranger approaches...
Shadowed Moon smiled. Finally he had finished replacing all of their bedding, and just in time for the twins to return. Hearing someone approaching their normal resting place he turned, expecting to see his children approaching. Much to his surprise he was greeted by a strange dark buck with very bright eyes. They almost seemed to glow in the dusk, and if Shadowed Moon hadn't heard him coming, he might have thought it was just a pair of floating eyes approaching him as the other bucks fur seemed to fade into the background as the sun continued its decent toward the treeline. Feeling, and looking, confused Shadowed Moon approached the stranger. "Hello. Do I know you?" The strange buck chuckled. "Of course not! You see, I'm here in the spirit of the season to bring you luck!
In love." The buck accented the final part of his comment as though trying to make it more important. Shadowed Moon returned with a skeptical look. Laughing light-heartedly the other buck shook his head, as though dismissing Shadowed Moon's doubt. "Not to you good sir! I've seen your ability to woo the ladies, and even if you didn't have the luck, you most certainly have the skill to make up for it." Shadowed Moon seemed to pull back a little, he hadn't seen this kimeti before, and it was a bit unnerving having him speak like he knew him. Before he could say anything the stranger hastily stepped forward, glancing around the bedding area. "You see, I'm here to bless your children, your daughter specifically. She seems to be unlucky in that area and your poor son is missing out on his luck because of it." The dark colored kin was speaking rather fast now, almost as though he was anticipating something. Shadowed Moon was getting a bit disturbed by this other kimeti, but just as he was about to ask him to step back he saw his twins approaching. The stranger seemed to notice them as well. "Ah, you-" Shadowed Moon was interrupted by this other buck as he quickly stepped forward. "My dear kimeti! I am here, as a spirit of the season, to bless your lovely doe here in the luck
of love." Once again the stranger accented the word, and Shadowed Moon just seemed fed up with this strange kins antics. Watery Depths look slightly disgusted by the buck as he leaned forward, and Murky Shallows stepped in between them, blocking the stranger from getting any closer to his sister. "F-fear not, good sir." The kimeti stuttered, obviously intimidated by the other buck. "I-I won't harm her! No, in fact," he glanced over at Watery Depths, a wanting look quickly crossing his face, "I will teach her the true feelings of love! So that she-" As he attempted to step forward Shadowed Moon moved closer as well, stopping his movement towards her. Suddenly she leaned her head forward, a look of realization crossing her face. She scoffed, interrupted the buck as he had interrupted her father. "I recognize this one! He's been following several of the other does around here for days. Seems they finally managed to chase him off." Smirking she looked down at him. "He apparently uses lies and pretty words to try and woo them, though this is the most creative story I've heard of so far." Murky Shallows looked at the buck as well. "I feel I've seen him around too." The buck chuckled awkwardly, as though trying to lighten the heavy feeling in the air. "N-no, y-you see, I-" Shadowed Moon cut him off. "No, you sir," he leaned forward, staring down at the unfortunate stranger, "will leave.
Now." There was a growl of threat in Shadowed Moon's voice that rarely surfaced, the buck started to move but Murky Shallows blocked his way. "If you ever come near my sister again..." He didn't even need to finish that sentence, all that needed to be said could be seen in his eyes. The dark kin's knees seemed to buckle a bit as he nodded and attempted to respond before running off into the night after the twins stepped out of his way. Watery Depths turned to her father and brother. Appearing quite amused she gave them a playful smile. "You know, I could have handled that myself." Murky Shallows returned her smile, while Shadowed Moon chuckled. "Come now, you have to let us have some of the fun."

Sorry for the double post, I just decided to try this after I made my previous post, and didn't think it should be put in as an edit.
